Great homely feeling for a staycation/travel far from home.

Lovely, comfortable, warm , relaxing, clean. Its great for a retreat too as you will have everything you need for a quiet relaxing spot to work from. You are provided with everything you need. There was milk in the fridge as well ! Less than 30 min walk to the village.

Its nothing negative about the place, but it could be tricky to find the entrance to the house . I suggest to check-in in daylight so that you know jow to find it when it gets dark. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low too, but did the job!

Excellent host, thank you Carmel for a wonderful stay in a comfortable, clean and relaxing home away from home. All amenities are excellent. Location is fabulous and I enjoyed the local attractions. There was nothing not to like about this property. It was spotlessly clean and perfectly located. We were met by the host who had the kettle freshly boiled for a cup of tea on our arrival! It was a home away from home!

The house is extremely spacious, nice and decorated in good taste. The hosts are extremely friendly as well.

Nice and spacious holiday home.

1. The host was friendly and provided plenty of helpful information about the local area. 2. The cottage was a separate building located behind the main house, offering privacy and quiet. 3. Spacious interior with a well-sized kitchen, comfortable living area, modern bathroom, one bedroom on the ground floor, and an additional bedroom upstairs. 4. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and dining. 5. Complimentary high-speed WiFi was available and reliable throughout our stay. 6. A washing machine was also available for added convenience.

A friendly, welcoming home-from-home space to relax and recharge.

It was lovely and unexpected to be greeted on arrival by the host who was super friendly, warm and welcoming. We'd booked this quite last minute and we definitely lucked out finding this gem available. Everything was thought of and taken care of at the property, making it a very enjoyable, relaxed and comfortable stay - exactly what we needed. There was even fresh muffins and milk provided (although we were unable to take advantage of them due to our dietary requirements but the sentiment was appreciated). Many breakfast cereals available which was a nice touch too.

That we could only stay for one night as we had to fly back home!!! Would have loved to have stayed here for longer for sure! The only other minor quibble is that the location was not super obvious (there was no sign outside), but we did manage to work it out and find it.

Ferry View Cottage was the absolute best place we stayed during our six-weeks in Ireland. Carmel and Martin were so friendly and made our visit very special. We really appreciate their kindness and generosity. Both were exceptionally hospitable and warm, it felt like we were family. If you are planning to be any where in the area you will not regret your stay here.

Quiet and cosy stay in a lovely cottage.

Gorgeous and cosy cottage within easy reach of Belmullet. The cottage is warm and I had a great stay, with full kitchen facilities and bonus muffins from my host. Shops are just over 2km away, a walk or a drive. And the views over the water are fabulous. Pick here for your stay!
