Beautiful!

Il Borgo Di San Michele is in beautiful surroundings, a lovely quaint typical pale yellow Italian house up in the mountains. The pool is clean and peaceful, the apartment is also clean, simple and if we were staying longer (I wish) has everything you could need. To top it all off the lovely Italian girl, Virginia is so helpful and kind. I would recommend. (Oooh! the Olive oil is delicious!)

We didn’t have a car! although a taxi from Terni station wasn’t complicated or too far away, I think to fully appreciate the area and different places to visit around, you would need a hire car. I liked everything about the property.

Highly reccomended, beautiful comfortable place to stay!

The apartment was lovely and spacious and the bed really comfortable and whole apartment clean. Pool and pool area is lovely and also very clean. Very quiet and remote. The most special thing about my stay here, however, was the family who run it. Virginia (daughter) went out of her way several times to help me and look after me when I struggled because of having all bank cards, drivers licence and and cash stolen at Rome Termini station before arriving in Umbria. Her mother made me croissants every morning and they made me coffee too. Her father fixed up one of their mountain bikes for me to borrow to get to the falls because I wasn’t able to hire a car without bank cards/drivers licence. All round kind and generous hard working people who made me feel so welcome and cared for from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. Also extremely good value for money! You must choose this place if you’re looking for somewhere tranquil to get away from it all.

Overall, would recommend

The property has lovely views and attractive, spacious rooms. Our unit had a nice outdoor patio and kitchen. The location is close to Terni, Marmore Falls, and many good restaurants. It is also not too far from hilltop cities like Narni, Orvieto, and Assissi. The olive oil is flavorful and makes a nice souvenir.

The wifi had weak signal and was not very reliable, so plan accordingly.

The weather was stifling so chances for exploring the area were limited so lots of use of the pool

The swimming pool is wonderful, plenty of sun loungers, shade and great views. The owners are great and very helpful.

The kitchen equipment was limited for self-catering.

A great holiday and relaxing surroundings

The place and the local staff (the Family) - really help full and did care about the stay. They did often ask about the status and if anything could be improved.

The roads in Italy - but I assume that this can not be changed by the place. The insects are relatively disturbing the evenings outside in Italy.

Disappointed but the area is magnificent

Location

No cleaning services (we stayed 3 nights) We order breakfast and had to go and get it from reception and take it to our room. Very small TV which you cannot see from the sofa or the bed.

Our flat was refurbished very tastefully - beautiful antique furniture combined with modern comfort; the kitchen is well stocked for self catering; the swimming pool is beautiful, clean and in a very breezy location amid the olive grove with a splendid view on the gorge. Multiple days trips worth taking are possible from the estate.

Very nice stay in Terni

This is a very nice agriturismo just outside Terni. The owners was very welcoming and gave us wine and olive oil. Also they baked us a cake, wich was so nice. The pool area is very nice with sunbeds and umbrellos, and the pool are clean and spacius. The appartment is nicely decorated in Italien style and the little kitchen have what you need to prepare a meal. We were travelling with three children and had two appartments at the groundfloor. I recommend that, because they comes with a terrace with a wiev to the mountains. To get here you need a car and also for going sightseeing, visit restaurants, supermarket and other things. We took trips to Narnia, Viterbo, Civita de Bagneregio, Cascate Mamore and lake piediluco wich I can reccomend.

Consigliatissimo!

Ottima struttura, immersa nel verde ma comoda per arrivarci e per gli spostamenti. Vicina alle Cascate delle Marmore. Camera confortevole e spaziosa. Piscina con gazebi immersa tra gli ulivi. Personale estremamente gentile, disponibile, discreto.

Se ci fosse anche il ristorante raggiungerebbe la perfezione nella sua completezza.

A pochi chilometri dalla città e dai servizi del mondo moderno, il tempo torna a misurarsi in respiri lunghi e in ascolto di ciò che ci circonda. Un luogo in evoluzione, dove coesistono storia e progetti contemporanei senza tradire l’essenza dello spirito famigliare. Affascinante ed emozionante percepire generazioni differenti che contribuiscono alla vita di una casa speciale. Gentilezza e disponibilità sono sempre presenti, (grazie ancora per il checkout tardivo senza aggiunte di costi). Gli spazi comuni (meraviglioso lo spazio piscina e il patio coperto dai rampicanti) e gli alloggi sono ben curati, puliti e dotati di tutto il necessario per un piacevole soggiorno, e la natura in cui si è immersi è impagabile.

Nulla, piccola opinione personale, sarebbe piacevolissimo trovare all’interno dell’appartamento un “kit di benvenuto” con un pacco di pasta, qualche biscotto magari di produttori locali e un assaggio dell’olio di produzione del frantoio presente nella struttura. Oltre a restare un ricordo apprezzato potrebbe incentivare l’ospite all’acquisto dei prodotti e ad una visita all’uliveto ed alla produzione. Ah, ultimissimo suggerimento, ma solo per deformazione professionale, le luci fredde all’interno dell’appartamento si sposano poco con il contesto e l’atmosfera “calda” di questo piccolo gioiello.

Piacevole soggiorno lontani dal caos

Agriturismo a pochi passi dalle Cascate delle Marmore molto carino, immerso nel verde e con una piscina bellissima dove potersi rilassare. Molto apprezzato il voucher per visitare le cascate e la lista di ristoranti tipici umbri nelle vicinanze. Camera pulitissima e dotata di tutto il necessario.

Sarebbe stato carino alloggiare nella camera scelta durante la prenotazione su booking ( al piano terra con patio esterno) e non in una camera assegnata casualmente al primo piano. Piccolo consiglio nella zona piscina: avere un tavolino sotto ogni gazebo tra i lettini giusto per appoggiare gli effetti personali e altre cose senza doverli lasciare a terra.

Soggiorno piacevole in umbria

La piscina è davvero bellissima, curata e perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di escursioni. La posizione è strategica per visitare i dintorni: in pochi minuti si raggiungono le Cascate delle Marmore, in mezz'ora le Gole del Nera. La pulizia dell’alloggio è impeccabile, tutto era in ordine e ben curato. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili, ci hanno anche offerto il caffè durante la colazione, un gesto semplice ma molto apprezzato. Bella vista sul verde.

Nella zona cucina dell’appartamento avrebbe fatto comodo una poltrona o un piccolo divano per rendere l’ambiente più accogliente. Il servizio bar ha orari un po’ limitati, e sarebbe utile poterlo utilizzare più liberamente durante la giornata.

Isola di pace

Ciò di cui si aveva la necessità. Splendida location immersa nel verde, tra ulivi e giardinetti curati con passione...il silenzio regna incontrastato... si è lontani dalla pazza folla. Un valore aggiunto è la piscina, purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruirne dato che l'accesso è consentito dai primi giorni di giugno, inoltre c'è la possibilità di acquistare dell'ottimo olio.

Letto troppo soffice ma è una questione di gusti personali.

Posto eccezionale e rilassante, consigliatissimo!

Struttura eccezionale, immersa nel verde e vicino alle cascate delle Marmore. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, pronto a dare informazioni e raccomandazioni sui luoghi da visitare e a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Appartamenti molto spaziosi, attrezzati e puliti. Piscina molto bella e immersa nel verde. La struttura mette anche a disposizione una zona barbecue.
