It's so lovely that this was our second stay.
Amazing location, very short walk to Charlestown Harbour which is beautiful and also has numerous great restaurants. Our favourite was Springtide (amazing fish) but the food was also excellent at the Pier House and Harbour house. It was lovely to be able to walk to them and they were dog friendly.
Beaches are lovely. We really liked Duporth beach because we often had it to ourselves. Carlyon Beach is more sandy and a much bigger beach which must be great in the summer as it has food and drink stalls.
Cottage is full of character, love the decor especially the wooden shutters. Really well equipped with everything you need. The double bed was really comfortable. Optional stair gate which was useful to keep the dog downstairs.
Not a problem for us but the stairs are very steep.
Only a small car can park in front of the property without blocking the road. We just parked on the adjacent road which is free parking but we visited outside of school holidays. Parking on this road may be an issue in July or August. There is a car park at the harbour but I don't know how much that charges.

What a lovely place to stay we were a family of 3 adults small child and a small dog the cottage was well equipped everything you’d need for your stay beds were so comfortable parking outside cottage pubs restaurants in walking distance 5 minutes from harbour

Cute and cozy cottage. Excellent location, very close to a wide range of pubs and restaurants in Charlestown. A great base to explore nearby villages and beaches. Sufficient for a family of 4 and the cottage is very well equipped.
We would happily rebook but a few bits we found a bit of a niggle. The windows are difficult to open, steep staircase and no outdoor space. Don't let it put you off though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
