Great stay, on the basic side for sure but perfect for one or two nights. Staff were lovely, breakfast was great, very close to the rainforest discovery centre and a great restaurant up the street. Easy to book a grab to take us to the sanctuaries.

Lack of pillows, only one flay pillow per bed but they did come over and provide extra when asked. We also had a twin bed when we asked for a double.

Feels like you're part of the jungle and so close to the rain forest discovery Center and the sanctuaries. Staff service is so friendly and helpful. There's great walks around the property and some amazing bird life.

Very friendly staff. Food was good. I would come back and stay here. I liked it much better than the Sepilok Jungle Lodge

Excellent location! My room had a lovely view of the forest and I enjoyed sitting in the balcony and watching the birds and squirrels. My suggestion would be to slap some insect repellent on and sit out at night, the stars are so beautiful! The hotel is also walking distance to the rainforest discovery centre, and the orangutan and sunbear centers. Very convenient! There's also a few good restaurants nearby. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient. Just be aware that you need to pay a RM 100 deposit when you check-in so bring cash accordingly. The rooms are simple but clean. It was nice and cool with the AC.

The breakfast was basic. I suggest going earlier, it's most enjoyable when the food is hot and put out at 7.30am. The shower pressure was low and the bathrooms smelled bad. I think having a drain cover might help. There's no toiletries except for hand soap and some shower gel. That's fine, I'm only mentioning it so other travellers can be prepared when they visit. It's the jungle so it's very loud at night. I'm a light sleeper so I found it difficult to sleep, but that's a me problem not the hotel. So if you're like me, carry earplugs.
