Sepilok B&B

Sepilok B& B has everything you need for your stay there. It’s secluded and you can hear the sounds of the jungle or wake up with the Macaques. Their food is really yummy too! Bed was super comfy, AC & fan (also in the balcony). It’s less than 20 minutes walk to the Orangutan & Sun Bear center & 5 minutes walk to the rainforest discovery center. It’s also a 20 minute drive from Sandakan’s airport (we grabbed a taxi). Totally recommend this place and we hope to be back! Big thanks to Stella for her great humor, super helpful & organizing our transportation & Elma for her kindness!

Great staff, location and home made food. Peaceful area, comfortable bed and wildlife everyday.

N/A

This was our second stay, and in the room we had this time the Wifi was excellent. All the other good things were the same as the first time around: very friendly staff, large room, lovely green grounds close to the Rainforest Discovery Center. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed, although the pillows were rock hard (I used one from the spare bed, which was better …)

The breakfast was okay, but nothing to write home about. At the end of our stay, Wifi stopped working - they were aware of the problem in waiting for someone to come and fix it.

Good location. Really walkable to RDC. Birds and wildlife come visit when the tree is fruiting.

It was almost the same menu daily. The noodle waa a bit dry and the fried rice was a bit plain. The bed in the dormitory was not comfortable. Pillow sinks in when I lie on the mattress. You can't throw toilet paper into the toilet. So you throw it in a bin and it was smelly by evening.
