Ionian Seaview

We had a fantastic stay at Ionian Seaview and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Himarë. The apartment was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the balcony offered beautiful views. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, cafes, and the town center, while still being quiet and peaceful at night. The property is ideal for families. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The parking facilities were also very convenient, with ample space and easy access. Practical tip for future guests: It is worth bringing cash in euros for payment. The accommodation accepts card payments, but the card processing fee is only around 0.3%. If paying in Albanian lek, be sure to check the exchange rate applied, as it may not always be as favorable as the market rate. Having euros available can help avoid any confusion and make the payment process smoother.

There is no washing machine available on the property. However, you can find a public laundry facility in the town, about a 10-minute walk away.

The location was wonderful. 2 minutes from the city center or the main bay by some stairs close to the house. The house itself was very comfortable with all the necessities (kitchen, towels, even an iron the owner was quick to bring it to us). We got there even late because of some personal issues and the owner was more than welcoming and understanding even if it was almost 3 am. In general it was very good. Would definitely be back.

Good location and space. And very clean. Also parking outside but it's not dedicated so you need to be quick to get the spaces near the apartment or park down the street.

The water pressure in the shower was the only drawback but you manage. Only a few rooms have a sea view.

The balcony view was nice. The location was good, but without a car, you wouldn’t see much of Himara in the hot summer months. The distance is doable for young and sporty people, bot for children and families the distance can be challenging. We had the most fun when we were out outside of the hot midday hours.

Some of the towels were old and very hard. There was only one air conditioner, which wasn’t able to cool the bedroom as well as we would like. Despite booking a place for 4 adults, with 4 places to sleep (1 double bed and 2 single beds), I had typed 3 adults would come (the arrival of the 4th wasn’t confirmed). After the owner saw that the 4th person would arrive, he demanded an extra fee of 15€ per night. All in all fair, since the owner makes the rules, but it was atypical considering our other experiences via booking. Usually you pay per person when you book in a hotel, not an apartment… The kitchen had ants, which came as a surprise on our first night there. Also there is no washing machine, so consider that for your stay here.
