Property has everything you needed and had a lot of character. Clean and warm. Would be excellent for a family with young children. Beds very comfortable. Owner checked in on us to make sure we were ok.
Nothing really. I went with my parents whom have mobility issues and they could have done with a hand rail to get up the front door step and the furniture was a little low for them. But they still lived the property.

Super friendly welcome and so much space! Especially as I was staying on my own it really is a whole cottage. Two separate bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and also a kitchen with a dining table, not your usual all in one cottage set up. Off road parking available for one car, this made it handy for getting things in and out for my dogs. Nice and warm especially as we had some cold weather during my stay.
Garden a little small and no grass which for dogs was a little tricky but there is a big park next door (just need to walk out onto the road and into the park about 50m)
Also the mattress in the main bedroom is super soft, not my preference although others may like that. Water pressure in the shower not good.

We attended for a wedding at the Three kings. It was close by 5-10 minute drive away. The host was very accommodating and allowed for a late check out.
It took us a while to realise the heating controls were in the cupboard in the kitchen. Fine once we knew where to press boost as was on a timer and off by the time we arrived meaning it was rather cold on arrival, we had young kids with us so this could have been a little better as we arrived late at night.
A wee message to remind to take coal for the fire would also have been helpful. This was just a minor thing and I wouldn’t let it put me off returning.
