Captain Mike's Villa

We loved this old stone semi-detached house that had everything you could want - A full equipped kitchen, comfy king-sized bed even good quality toilet paper! The huge terrace was amazing and although you can sunbathe its also a great place to sit in the shade on a hot day playing cards and drinking ouzo until the pink sun set. Our host Stavros could not have been more helpful, a really genuine nice guy. We were met by Georgia who, again, is such a helpful kind lady and found a whole spread of food and drink goodies to welcome us. The best bit by far was our little beach two tracks downhill with not a sunbed in sight. It is the best snorkelling I have ever experienced in the Med, we spent hours around the bay finding hundreds of fish

I found Sivota a little too touristy for me but its great for those who want a large choice of tavernas and shops, I'm just an old-fashioned girl who likes traditional culture. We could have done with a map (I left mine there) and other handy information like the public bus if you dont have a car (but do book a car beforehand as you may tire of all the lovely beaches). I got confused thinking I had booked Capt Mike's II but I had booked Capt Mike's I so a different name for one of them would have helped dizzy blonds like me. Having said that, there is not much in it between the two houses - the terrace on our house (Cpt Mike I) is bigger and more attractive, but Capt Mike's II is slightly bigger inside.
