The host was very accommodating and kind. He tried to make my friend and I feel comfortable and he even lent us a few things we needed for the beach.

I don't like how the whole bathroom gets wet when showering. There could be a separation between the shower and toilet/ sink area.

The staff was more than kind. They helped us to arrange the transfer from the harbor (approx 20 minutes by car), they informed us well in advance about the restriction due to the thyphon and, since we had to return one day earlier, they reimbursed us for the night we missed (even if we kept the room till 2 pm). Moreover, they supported us in finding a rental company for an e-scooter (not easy on Penghu, they usually rent only to local drivers). Also in this case, since we returned the scooter one day earlier, they contacted (on their own) the company to get the refund. Definitely, one of the best host we never found during our travels. About the position, just next to the best beach on Penghu Island. The room is a bit "old style" but nothing is missing. You have the chance to choose the breakfast the day before among their selection (toast, chicken and egg sendwich,...)

Just be aware that some or the restaurants are closed for lunch or they open just during the weekend. However, there is a 7 eleven open till midnight and few good options within 10 minutes by car.
