We stayed in the château itself and were really happy with our room – comfortable, well presented and a lovely place to stay. Beautiful grounds and excellent amenities, with a great choice of good quality food and drinks. We particularly enjoyed the al fresco dining and views. Breakfast had a good selection too.
Service could be inconsistent, particularly at the outside bar, and our tab was incorrect several times. Breakfast items were sometimes slow to be replenished, especially when a conference was taking place, when very little was left for hotel guests.

It’s our second time here. We love the facilities, location, and the vibe in general- as do the children. You can totally switch off here.
This time round the service was very patchy at times - not what you expect given the rates we are paying. For example, on two separate occasions the staff forgot our drinks order and on one occasion there were 5 members of staff behind the bar. None of them were interested in taking my order for quite a while.
