Practically furnished apartment located quite close to the city center

A practically furnished apartment located quite close to the city center and the lake. Good shopping facilities for daily needs are also nearby.

The garage entrance is really not easy. But this can be seen as an advantage – especially for Zurich: there is a garage parking space.

Very Comfortable

A little farther out, but quiet location. Super easy to get on the number 4 train and be to the main station in 15 minutes. Easy check in and out on the self check in kiosk. Clean and has what you need to cook basic meals and keep groceries in the small refrigerator. The kettle worked great.

Everything was fine. Just be careful getting out of the elevator as it's close to the first stair going down and you could easily fall.

A great place to stay, just a short tram triode or 30 mins walk into centre.

Self check in and key programming worked fine. Allowed us to have 2 keys no problem. The apartment was great. Basic and had an upgrade of cupboard doors etc. Nothing flash, but easily good enough. Well equipped for a few days in Zurich. Tram stop right outside. Heating controls worked well.

The hob is not the best, but good enough. No real issues and would stay here again, no question.

Excellent location and great value!

Perfect size for our family with kids, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the easy access to downtown Zurich made our stay even more enjoyable.

Parking was quite narrow and came at an extra cost, so I’d recommend booking a spot in advance. Also, the TV offered very few international channels, which could be improved.

Peaceful city apartment that is well equipped.

Apartment was right next to a tram stop. Rooms had full blackout shutters and excellent soundproofing for a great sleeping experience.

The washing machine is communal (common in Switzerland) and needed coins (no tap and pay).

Near to city center

Good location, very clean, nice beds, good price for Zürich.

No mosquito nets, so while opening the windows to get some früher air in, we had to have all lights switched off, which was quite inconvenient. Very few sockets. Loud road front, so at night, we only kept the rear window in the kitchen open.

Horrible experience

You should disclose your apartments don’t have air conditioning. My so has asthma and I have a heart condition. We need AC . Especially at 80-90 heat. We left the apartment within the first hours

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was and the location is perfect!

My room was immaculate! Had all the amenities I needed and I loved the sun shade on the patio; it provided a cool relaxing space after walking the city for 5 hours. I would highly recommend City Stay on Forchstrasse to everyone I can offer the recommendation to. I will be staying there again!

Staying for a few days is convenient and good value for your money.

Had underground parking elevators taking us to the flat. If you like to take the tram to old town it is convenient as the stop is right at the entrance. Having a kitchen was very convenient.

Complicated check in. To get your car into the garage you need to check in while blocking others.

3-Night Stay in Zurich

I stayed at this apartment in Zurich with my wife for three nights. Overall, it was a decent stay, but several aspects left us underwhelmed, especially considering the high price. The apartment looks significantly more worn out than it does in the pictures. It clearly needs a renovation – the bedroom floor, in particular, is very used and gives an overall tired impression. Street noise was quite noticeable, and we were woken up by it on multiple occasions, which took away from the comfort of the stay. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and we appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment – it’s clear the cleaning staff is doing a thorough job. The location is acceptable, with about a 15-minute walk to the lake. However, the check-in policy is frustrating. Being allowed to check in only after 4 PM feels unnecessarily late, especially considering that checkout is at 11 AM. A 14:00 check-in would be far more reasonable given the cleaning time available. In short, this apartment is overpriced for the quality it offers. While there are a few strong points, they don’t compensate for the outdated condition and lack of value.

Clear and practical apartment near the city centre

Good location near the city centre. Simple but practical apartment. New bathroom. Coffee & Tea for free (in limited quantities).

Room without shoe spoon. We recommend to add information about how to get in the apartment in late night hours. We came back from the night city walk and we didn't know how to get in. Fortunately, there was a woman outside who helped us.

Great location but if you wanna sleep bring your own pillows

The location of the property is great and the room was clean and the kitchenette well equipped

The bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows so low that was like if we didn’t have them, we had to roll towels and use them as pillow, we did not sleep well, also there is no air conditioning available it was really hot and we had to sleep with the windows open but as the hotel is on the city center it was really noisy. Carpark is not included in your booking and you have to pay for it at the hotel, it’s crazy expensive and the parking bays are so tiny and tight. As we drove our car there the first day it was really hard to figure out where the carpark was and also the entrance of the building was not clearly sing. Took us a while to figure out which of the 2 entrances we had to use and where the carpark was.

Swiss trip

Very well communicated self service check in. We filled up the details before arrival and easy to programme the keys on arrival. Clean comfortable apartment with grocery store across the street. Tram line number 11 takes you to town after 4 stops and you can also use tram to get to main train station. Bus station from where majority of guided tours leave is 3-4 minutes walk from train station. There is piazza Resturant is just outside but we did not eat there. Balcony was nice. Taxi is expensive but uber is easily available for half the taxi price.

Some extra toiletries would be nice. Small bottle of shampoo and shower gel for two people for three days is not enough.

Enjoyable stay, very good room.

Easy check in and check out, nice cleaning service, beautiful and cosy room, with a little balcony with a good sun orientation in the morning for early cute breakfast. Quite well equipped for easy meals.

I would have liked to have a broom or vacuum cleaner available for some daily cleaning and maybe a secondary trashcan to recycle plastic bottles, otherwise nothing was wrong !
