This little gem is delightful! The location is incredible, very clean, tidy and modern. Cosy room for a short stay with friends or family. Self-catering but no worry as a main shop is less than 50 yards away. The cafe across the road does lovely food. Our host was super and friendly, cannot recommend it enough! Will be booking next year no doubt. All the best!!!

Apsistojome nuostabiuose apartamentuose Palangoje – viskas buvo puiku: švaru, patogu, jauku. Iki jūros apie 10 min, o iki Basanavičiaus gatvės – kokios 15 min pėsčiomis, tad viskas ranka pasiekiama, bet tuo pačiu aplinkui ramu. Parkingas didelis, vietos automobiliui netrūko. Balkonas – atskira tema, tikras poilsio kampelis, kur vakare smagu pasėdėti su arbata ar rytine kava. Vaikystėje, kai su tėvais važiuodavome į kempingus Palangoj, dušas dažniausiai asocijavosi su šaltu vandeniu ir “greičiau greičiau išlįsk” nuotaika. O čia – viskas atvirkščiai, vanduo toks karštas ir malonus, kad nesinori net lipti lauk. Šeimininkė labai maloni, jei ko pritrūks – visada patars ir pasirūpins. Tikrai rekomenduoju ir pati mielai sugrįžčiau dar kartą.❤️

- The location is good, not too far from the beach and city center; - Convenient parking; - Comfortable beds; - Spacious enough for the price; - Balcony - however, initially we only had one chair and only after some awkward conversations managed to get a second one (as firstly the owner refused to provide it, even though there are 2 in the pictures of the flat); Saw that a couple staying next to us also asked for a second one for their balcony, so I guess it is indeed a normal thing to have; - Owner's husband kindly installed a drying line in our balcony and other balconies for wet towels after we asked if they could lend us something like that; Some context: I rented this place for 7 nights, 6 of which my friend was staying with me and 1 of which my partner came to stay with me. Our 2 other friends have rented a small room at a very lovely guest house across the street, as they decided to join us last minute after we had already booked this property. Also, when booking, the room seemed to have 2 beds, but when we arrived there were 3, which we, of course, didn't mind, but our friends made some jokes about us not wanting for them to stay with us (there was in the end enough room for 4 people to squeeze in). We were not only resting, but also working remotely on our laptops, hence we appreciated more space. I wish we hadn't gone through what we did with the owner and I really wish I didn't have to write this part at all, but right after this stay I went to 3 other holiday properties at a Lithuanian seaside which were so wonderful that I realised that the "hospitality" we received at Zveju Apartments should not be tolerated.

The very first thing the owner did was come to "warn" us that we are NOT ALLOWED to have other people in the room. We assumed that what she meant was it is not allowed to have other people SLEEPING in the room - which is understandable, as we paid for 2 people. We kindly explained to her that our friends are staying right across the street at a different place. However, she came another couple of times to "remind" us of that and got mental the last day when my partner arrived to substitute my friend, which was extremely unpleasant and stressful, as we felt like we had to constantly explain ourselves as if we were doing something terribly wrong by having our friends over for breakfast or lunch, even though we could have just shown her the other room reservation on booking that our friends had. On our last day she literally ran upstairs behind me and my fiance carrying a suitcase, and interrupted me introducing him to my friend by starting to scold us on the number of people in the flat. Moreover, the flat, balcony and fridge were really dirty, hence I bought a cleaner myself and cleaned everything so we would feel comfortable. Furthermore, the bed cover and mattress cover were all stained, and when I asked the owner if we could wash it somewhere she kindly took it to laundry, but noted that it is not usual to wash or change after each guest, which left us appalled, especially in times of a pandemic. The towels, duvet and pillow covers were also quite disgusting, very old and from different sets (you can see the same observation was made by other travelers years ago), which in itself wouldn't be a problem, but they looked very much reused. The cleanliness issues are easy to fix and for the sake of other clients we hope they will be, that's the reason for this review.
