V8 Hotel offers excellent value for money. It's located close to several dining options (dim sum, food court, etc.). The staff was friendly, and the rooms were decent for this price range.
The air conditioning system is a bit old and takes quite a while to cool the room. There are also no shopping options within walking distance (although some are a short drive away). Lack of air conditioning in the hotel corridors.

They really should do something about the TV. You don’t need 2 remotes to operate a television which is really stressful

The staff were friendly
It was quite disappointing in terms of cleanliness. The walls were dirty especially the toilet.
