Utopia

Utopia is amazing. Beautiful, comfortable, and the room was so cosy and large. The while armosphere isnsomethong else. Felt so good to arrive there after long day walking. Breakfast was good, and bonus was the house cat and dog.

Not a great position, especially if you walk the Rota Vicentina. But worth the trouble.

Clean lovely aesthetic throughout. Fantastic breakfast. Easy to walk everywhere. Only a 30 minute walk or 4 min drive to Arrifina. My favourite part was the big beautiful cat that lives there and the poodle dog that comes in the morning. So much to do in the area - surf, run/hike, horse riding, mountain bike. Lovely homely vibe for a big hotelat Utopia.

The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and the pool was very nice. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of choices like fruits, different types of bread and oats. The lounge area next to the reception was cool, too.

We had a fire alarm going off very early in the morning. Nobody knew if it was a false alarm or not. I’m not even sure if the staff checked where it originated from. They weren‘t able to stop it, they didn’t evacuate the building, no firefighters came. The alarm was on for almost 45 minutes! I don’t want to imagine what would have happened if there was a real fire. For hikers the breakfast is served too late, they start at 8:30h.
