We’d stay again

2nd time we’ve stayed here. Does what it says on the tin! Ie clean, safe and generally ok

This time we had a room off the living/kitchen area so noisy when others got up and ‘held court’ with loud voices!!

Safe and comfortable , all you need really.

beds very comfortable and clean. shared facilities but clean and pleasant to use. Great to be able to make breakfast in shares large kitchen. Friendly other guests, we shared the washing up! Would definetely stay again. a big park nearby but sadly we did not have time to have a walk there. Being near a busy roundabout could have been a turn off but good double glazing and private parking around the back made up for that.

Amazing value for money

Paul was very helpful and friendly when we checked in , he showed us the kitchen facilities which were fantastic as you could make your own meals and use fridges , also free tea and coffee. It was bright and clean in kitchen and corridors . Are room was a good size with a king size bed and clean on suite. Plenty of off road parking aswell.

Maybe a full length mirror in the room would be good for us ladies and the quilt cover was a little bit bobbly

Basic and pungent

Location was good

Upon arrival the check in was via phone and the person answering was abrupt and seemed confused stating we shouldn’t be there till 4pm, we checked book in information and it said 2pm. We parked the car and there were people smoking weed in the car park, turns out they were also staying here. When we checked in to the room it was overwhelming the smell of weed and we were followed to our stairs by one of the people smoking weed. We tried to make light but also found hair within the bedding and in the end felt we couldn’t stay here as it wasn’t what was expected. We know it is a budget friendly option but it is also advertised as family friendly and i wouldn’t feel comfortable for a family to stay here. I initially contacted the property managers On the day of our visit (we left within an hour and found a lovely hotel local for only £10 more than this!) and they said they would refund us, now after 3 phone calls with booking, one with OYO head office and multiple emails I’m being told no to a refund. This unfortunately is the first time I’ve had a negative experience with booking.com.

It was OK, but I've had better for less.

The room was clean. The owner answered WhatsApp promptly and was very pleasant to deal with.

Couldn't get subtitles on TV as the generic remote didn't have a subtitle button, and the TV didn't have the facility to enable the subtitles via the set up menu. The pillow was lumpy so it was difficult to get comfortable. The heating came on full blast (the radiator thermostat was dialled up to maximum), despite turning it down the room did not cool down quickly enough. The owner was travelling from a family event so was unable to help with some things remotely. No decaf coffee sachets.

Not really a bed and breakfast place more of a back packers place

The parking on the front was very convenient for me and the WiFi was very good

The room wasn’t clean the carpet was dirty and cobwebs on the walls and ceiling there was a fusty smell as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a while, there was a drawer of someone’s left food rotten grapes with green mould growing all over it and also weetabix down the side of one of the beds. Breakfast which is advertised is cereal and fruit teas and coffee is available but seeing the state of the room we don’t bother and just used it to sleep then left early someone’s toothpaste splats was all over the bathroom mirror beds were ok comfortable clean bedding.

Rubbish left in the drawers without being taken out. Had loads of spider webs, and the carpet was in very bad condition. Overall, the hygiene was very bad.

Television in room 8 did not work. Blinds in one room broken. Told all would be fixed wasn’t. Did not stay for so called breakfast. Left as soon as we could.

A very convenient place to stay as my family live near by .

I am a little restricted for food as I am Gluten free with my diet. So bring my own. Traffic noise at night was tolerable most of the time as we had to have windows open / too hot otherwise.And bedside lights didn't work. Otherwise all was great.

Perfect

The location was perfect for what we needed at the time of our stay - close to buses and the city centre. Plenty of bathrooms and wash rooms The kitchen area was great plenty of seating space and options for breakfast were good too. The bedroom we had was very spacious for 3 adults and the beds were very comfortable.

Hull stay

Clean. Room, good kitchen facilities if you wish too Cook or have food in . Open 24/ 7 Nice selection of continental breakfast. Bed room front up stairs bath room very small. We did manage. However if your a big man tall don't think you would . Beds , double very comfortable the single not so good., mattress a bit lumpy. . Not good if you have back problems. I will book again. Paul and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing to much trouble. Great for buses. And local facilities. Over all a very enjoyable experience. 😉

Although nice and clean , over all very disappointing as definitely not a hotel!!

Breakfast was help yourself in a communal kitchen. Had to share butter and milk with other guests instead of individual pacts. Fair choice of cereals, fruit juices but yogurts not restocked so little choice

Should not be advertised as hotel, should be advertised as rooms with communal kitchen. No staff on arrival, had to phone owner to get access into building, by using key code box. Only staff saw were the cleaners who brought their children with them!
