Treetop Guesthouse and Bungalows

The location is very quiet by the sea—it's perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet with a magnificent view (you can go swimming right in front of your accommodation) ! The bungalow is also fully equipped with a mosquito net, electric kettle, dishes, mini-fridge, and hammock. Wiggy and his team are really helpful!

Sometimes the Wi-Fi connection isn't very fast at the bungalow. The location is quite secluded from the center of Iboih, and it takes a bit of effort to walk up and down to the bungalow. But that's okay—you need to get some exercise on vacation, too!

We absolutely loved staying here! It's the perfect place if you want to get away from it all, but you're still only a short walk from the village, cafés and restaurants. The bed was really comfortable, and there was a mosquito net, although we never needed to use it. We spent lots of time relaxing in the hammock on the balcony, listening to the sea. It felt incredibly peaceful. The room had a fridge and a large water dispenser, which was much appreciated. The snorkelling was one of the highlights of our stay. Just a couple of minutes from the accommodation, we saw some of the most exotic and colourful fish we've ever encountered. My husband also went scuba diving and said it was incredible. Wiggy was a great host – friendly, helpful and easy to contact whenever we had a question. He arranged for us to be collected from the ferry in a traditional motorbike-and-sidecar taxi, which was a fun way to start our stay. The views are gorgeous, Pulau Weh is absolutely stunning, and we'd happily return. Highly recommend!

There are quite a few steps to reach the accommodation, but that's the trade-off for being right by the sea with such fantastic views!

The view was amazing, you can see the sunrise. The sounds of waves is calming, a great escape from the bustling city live. Wiggy and Zeboa were very friendly, it was nice chatting with you both here and then. They were very helpful in accommodating any needs that we had.

Not necessarily what we don’t like, just sharing some thoughts: As the room is on a slight slope, accessing them can be a bit challenging with the stairs, something to be noted on if staying with children or elderly person. In hindsight, it did gave us a good workout daily 😄. But worry not, we have the mighty Zeboa to help us with the luggage 💪🏻. The garbage can provided in the room can be quite small if there is too many garbage, but again, they will help you to clear them out and gave you new garbage plastic bag if needed be. There is only one nearby restaurant that is within capable walking distance, the trail is somewhat questionable, but due to the circumstances of different properties there, it is what it is. So I highly suggest to rent scooters for easier logistics to access other parts of Iboih beach easily. Again, the team will help you to accommodate that, just ask them for the scooters!
