Good sleep and decor. Did not eat trhere.

Spotless, soothing decor made the room easy to like. And paintings and other artwork of deer (after the name of the hotel) were entertaining throughout. The odd semi-open elevator was entertaining but will not move unless you keep pressing the button on which floor you're trying to.

Restaurant was closed so did not have an evening meal. The non-included breakfast looked to be good quality but so skimpy in choice I did not buy it. A confusing floor plan makes it harder to find our way around the hotel the first or even second timne.

Superb Family Hotel with a FABULOUS Food Ofering

This is a family run hotel with EXCEPTIONAL food offering. The bar is fully stocked and in fact the beer reasonably priced. The staff could not do more. We had breakfast and the maost amazing Irish Steak Dinner. Fabulous

There is little around the resturant as it is in a small village. We never wanted to leave for anything anyhow and I am sure you could drive to nearby towns or get a cab

Hidden gem

Breakfast was simple but fine, all staff very friendly and professional. Dinner both evenings was exceptional, we met both brothers (chef and manager) and other staff, very nice to hear of the progress of the landgasthof over the years. Would highly recommend a stay here and very easy to travel within Germany and over the Swiss border

Lovely overnight stop for Eurovelo 6

Very comfortable, newly renovated rooms in a family run hotel with a good restaurant and a nice breakfast. We really loved our stay here. I’m adding my comments so they can aim for perfection!

The bathroom was so perfect that the shower was a bit slippery. It could be a good idea for the hotel to add a non-slip shower mat. We had two points of confusion, we thought we had reserved two double rooms for four people but on arrival they were expecting two people. The menus were arranged so that some of our dishes were cordon bleu size. We would have ordered differently if that had been explained better.

Value for money in a quaint German village, polite staff, & adequate property for our needs.

Price for the size of apartment we were given was more than adequate.

We arrived late at 9:45pm, and the restaurant had closed at 9pm. There's literally no other option for food, other than a BP Gas station sandwiches 5 mins up the road. However, the kitchen was full equipped at the property and the gas station did have a mini market, so there were options.

Staff at reception very helpful in storing my bike safe and secure. Very good breakfast and loved the setting...in like an old wine cellar. WiFi good in room and AC very good.

The pillows for bed were not supportive...felt like they were stuffed with cotton.

Breakfast was rich and good for only 9Eur per person. The staff were very available and helped me with a mistake in my reservation, changing my date of arrival at no cost. The automatic check-in on arrival is efficient and pleasant. The room was very well furnished and extremely spacious. It was also equipped with a portabler air conditioning unit, which proved essential given the heat wave at the beginning of August 2022.

The guesthouse is located in a relatively isolated village: while the location is perfect for travellers on a bike tour (such as ourselves), it is a little problematic, especially on weekends. In our case it was impossible to find a place to eat or even buy some groceries on a Sunday.

The communication was a bit off track. I sent a message asking about the extra costs of the dog. I received the answer after 1 month..and at this time the accomodation no longer possible to cancel, or modify. Other than that, everything is fine.

The hotel is located in a small, calm village and in a special building which is very well renovated. It is a warm welcoming family business and the staff is extraordinary helpful! The restaurant was closed but we enjoyed the outstanding breakfast.

Pleasant stay

Very pleasant place to stay in the countryside of Germany. Great restaurant. Staff was very helpful, the young man who greeted me spoke English and helped sort out some reservation issues. Most helpful. I was at the end of my first day of a month long bike ride along the Danube and was exhausted. Wonderful place, would stay here again.
