Apartments Villa Papalina 2

Ubytovatelia sú úžasný ľudia. Máme toho dosť precestovaného, ale popravde, v tak čistom apartmáne sme neboli ani v 5***** hoteli. Nikde nebolo ani smietko prachu.

My sme zvyknutí spať na tvrdšom matraci, nebolo to na sťažnosť, len ak by tam bol nejaký lepší matrac, tak už by to bolo bývanie snov :-)

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und modern ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die tolle Lage, von der aus man schnell am Wasser ist. Zusätzlich ein Pool.Ein Highlight war die private Bootstour, die einfach unvergesslich war. Außerdem ist die Unterkunft hundefreundlich, was für uns ein großer Pluspunkt war.

Eigentlich nichts, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

We would have appreciated some info about what is around where to go for a trip, tip for a restaurant, or anything like that. We were just given keys from our room and that was it. When we have asked about water taxi to the town we were told to check the internet.

The owner’s father was extremely kind and helpful. He showed me how I could tap my own beer, which I really appreciated. When I first arrived, the apartment looked clean and great. We got two fridge magnets for free, along with a few brochures about the island of Rab. That was, of course, a nice gesture. The pool was warm…

After settling in, I noticed the underside of the cushions was dirty, and the couch was stained. The kitchen was lacking: only two pots, one with broken handles, and just one spatula. There was no dish soap, nothing for mosquitoes, and we had to buy all essentials ourselves. The coffee maker and kettle were broken. The kettle even shocked my mom twice when she tried to use it, and she got scared, so we never used it again. It was awkward for me to tell them everything wrong, because I think if they’ve rented on Booking for a long time, they should be experienced and test everything themselves. We only had toilet paper for one day. Two days, no hot water. When paying the balance, the older gentleman gave me the amount. I asked if it included the dog, since his father said 12 euros a day. The son said Booking showed 20 euros, but he’d leave it at 12. I told him no 20-euro fee was listed—just that a fee may apply. If I knew they’d claim 20, I wouldn’t have chosen this place. At the next accommodation, they charged nothing for my small Italian greyhound. Be cautious with pets—you might pay extra you could spend better elsewhere. The pool had many dead insects floating. It didn’t feel good swimming—the filtration wasn’t good or they didn’t skim. If they kept it clean—no dead bees, wasps, bugs—it’d be nicer. The insects were obvious while swimming. On the last day, pool jets fell out, so no massage feature. We were asked when we’d leave—it felt like they wanted us gone. For the price, I expected something royal, but it was a lesson not to trust pretty photos.
