Podaca, great place for family relaxation

Very satisfied, great balance between price and what you get for your money. The beach is very near, grocery store also. Marko, our host, was very nice, understandable and helpful. Podaca is very good for families, it's not too busy.

The quality of the bed was not the best, but everything else was pretty nice.

Read reviews before booking

The apartment is in a convenient location and has a good view from the balcony. There are some parking spaces, market is fairly close and the beach is only 5 min away.

The agency that manges the property sent multiple emails/messages/SMS with various instructions. Booking property via Booking.com is not enough to confirm reservation, and payment via a DIFFERENT SYSTEM is required. Also in one the emails they have requested to send EXACT arrival time and PRINT some kind of voucher. I don't know how they are expecting to do so for people who book stays on the go. Complete nonsense, had to call to agency to get things clarified and this was not worth the effort. The owner of the property does not speak any other languages than German and Croatian. It was very difficult to communicate. Our car was blocked (as per instruction from the owner) and we had to look how to get it out. And we were not the only ones that had this issue. Within the room one of the hotplates of the stove could not be used due to the fact that it turns off fuses for the whole house. Remaining payment can only be made in cash. Overall it was a quite stressful stay and even more unpleasant booking process.

Zlý, nepříjemný majitel, křičel na nás, ať vypadneme, že ho zaplacená záloha nezajímá, pokoj je kuřácký, opravdu smrdí, nechutný, jak z hororu, řešení storno se 100 % storno poplatkem, obrovský tvrdý polštář, nejvíc nepohodlná tenká měkká pružinová matrace, peklo, ve dvě ráno nás probudil intenzivní smrad z polštáře, pokoj je nasátý odporný nechutný, zkažené líbánky, majitel hrubý, naprosto nejhorší a drahé ubytování, agentura i majitel odmítli řešit, NEDOPORUČUJU
