I guess the price for the size of room.... and the antique design and deco at the old block
our neighbour was loud the whole night though the staff did try to help by WhatsApp them... guests did not care much. I was at the old block, checked the new block, and guests were just as noisy. There is no phone provided, you either walk to the reception to get help or trying to what'sapp them only via text.

We're used to staying in hostels/ homestays while we travel and this is by far the best place we've been for a similar price. The room was spacious, sparkling clean and beds were super comfortable.
Staff were lovely! Particularly Fajar from security who was incredibly helpful and so friendly, he went out of his way to help us and had plenty of recommendations.
Great location too, only a 10 min grab to the nearby malls and a good location for getting to Bromo too. Would definitely stay here again.
