Apart Hotel 92/2

My partner and I stayed at Apart Hotel 92/2 and enjoyed our visit. The staff were courteous and the rooms were clean. The location is excellent. However, it is a bit pricey for a provincial hotel of a 3 to 4-star category. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

I was not impressed with this hotel. There was limited English speaking staff, very difficult to communicate with most of them. The biggest issue I had was that I booked 2 rooms, one for myself and the other for my guests. Upon checking in, I notified the front desk that I would be paying for both my room and my guest’s room. They were unable to accept my AMEX card, so they gave me the key and said they would call me after they spoke with someone. No one called, and meanwhile I had gotten local currency, so I assumed I would pay upon checkout. Unbeknownst to me, when my guests checked in, they were informed that they would not be able to check in unless they paid the entire 2 nights for both my room and their room! My guests checked had to go to the bank to retrieve cash. I did not find out until the next day, and I was apalled. The administrator issued a 10% discount and covered a bowl of soup and a few waters that we purchased, which helped. But did not erase the mistake. The room was okay at most. I requested extra towels (there were only 2), and was told we could not get any… so I had to call the administrator to get help. A few staff members and the administrator were nice and tried to be helpful. But I would not return, nor would I recommend to others
