River Residence

River Residence was an easy check-in. Marco is very communicative and the rooms are lovely. We were a short walk from the spas.

The apartment was very modern, with a full kitchen to cook in. Just fantastic! It was lovely and warm, the heating was regulated to perfect temperature. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom very modern, with a great shower. Plenty of storage space. TV with Netflix, coffee with great coffee. Our host Marco was marvellous, he made contact before our arrival with directions from the train station, which was a lovely walk along the river, Marco had also prepared some sweet tea and cakes for our arrival, with ice too. We really appreciated this, and Marco was on hand to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this apartment.

The place was immaculate. If you are considering to book, stop scrolling and do it without hesitation. First time I've been so impressed with an accommodation to write a review The place is huge, clean and has all the amenities you could want. Not even mentioned is the Bang & Olufson sound system! Close to the station and the old town. Walking distance. Pretty much next door to the best Thermal pools and Spa experience in Baden also. FourtySeven. If all this is not enough the in let me tell you about the host who went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of like home.

The location was super great! Easy access to all the places in Baden and Therma 47. Marco is a super Host and made our journey so welcome and pleasant from preparation and until after the check-out. He was always accessible and very helpful with all the tips 🙏🏻 I would like to thank Marco and the team for making our stay in Baden very warm and friendly ❤️

I booked many hotels and bookings around the world and this place had the warmest welcome of all. The location by the river was beautiful and the suite was exceptional and well decorated. Highly recommend

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect eight-day getaway! As a couple, we found the “Jasmine” first-floor apartment (with easy elevator access) exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. When we arrived, the apartment impressed us with its spotless, spacious layout. There’s a generous bedroom and a bright main living area that opens onto a lovely balcony—perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is even a nice umbrella in case of a rainy day. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals at home: cookware, utensils, a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, coffee machine and even a dishwasher. The bathroom was equally well appointed—modern fixtures, plenty of storage, and a bidet-equipped toilet. We also appreciated access to the shared service room, which housed a washing machine, dryer, and iron—ideal for keeping our wardrobe fresh after days out exploring. Just a few minutes' stroll took us to the renowned thermal baths—pure bliss after a day of sightseeing—and the scenic Limmat promenade runs right alongside. Everything felt close enough to be convenient, but the apartment itself remained wonderfully peaceful. Our host, Marco, was responsive and friendly throughout. Before arrival, he checked in with us via WhatsApp to share check-in instructions, responded promptly to our questions, and even offered local tips that made our visit smoother. We left feeling refreshed, well-rested, and already planning our return.

We loved the location and the space. We particularly enjoyed having appetisers on the back terrace in the afternoon sunshine. The mattress was excellent, and the topper on the sofa was also extremely comfortable. Our host, Marco, was keen to please us with a little welcome treat and several tips on places to go to eat etc. He was also a great help with organising the parking card.

It was a shame that we weren't given the tip to book an evening meal in the Thai restaurant almost next door (or any other local restaurant which were all fully booked when we got there. Also, brunch tips amounted to frustration as they looked wonderful, but again, they were more than fully booked for the whole weekend. A couple of little shortcomings in the apartment: no middle-sized plates (side plates), no mugs, a dodgy tap in the kitchen and bedside lamps in the master bedroom (which all only seemed to work with a good bash!) and an extra comfortable chair would have been handy. We also strongly felt that there should be TWO duvets on the master bed as we were friends staying together not lovers. (Marco kindly helped us to find an extra duvet which overcame that problem ;)

Lovely quiet location, close enough to station and town. Well equipped accommodation and good communication before and during.
