Perfect comfortable stay in modern apartment

The apartment was very modern, with a full kitchen to cook in. Just fantastic! It was lovely and warm, the heating was regulated to perfect temperature. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom very modern, with a great shower. Plenty of storage space. TV with Netflix, coffee with great coffee. Our host Marco was marvellous, he made contact before our arrival with directions from the train station, which was a lovely walk along the river, Marco had also prepared some sweet tea and cakes for our arrival, with ice too. We really appreciated this, and Marco was on hand to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this apartment.

The Absolute BEST. Book it!

The place was immaculate. If you are considering to book, stop scrolling and do it without hesitation. First time I've been so impressed with an accommodation to write a review The place is huge, clean and has all the amenities you could want. Not even mentioned is the Bang & Olufson sound system! Close to the station and the old town. Walking distance. Pretty much next door to the best Thermal pools and Spa experience in Baden also. FourtySeven. If all this is not enough the in let me tell you about the host who went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of like home.

The location was super great! Easy access to all the places in Baden and Therma 47. Marco is a super Host and made our journey so welcome and pleasant from preparation and until after the check-out. He was always accessible and very helpful with all the tips 🙏🏻 I would like to thank Marco and the team for making our stay in Baden very warm and friendly ❤️

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect eight-day getaway! As a couple, we found the “Jasmine” first-floor apartment (with easy elevator access) exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. When we arrived, the apartment impressed us with its spotless, spacious layout. There’s a generous bedroom and a bright main living area that opens onto a lovely balcony—perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is even a nice umbrella in case of a rainy day. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals at home: cookware, utensils, a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, oven, coffee machine and even a dishwasher. The bathroom was equally well appointed—modern fixtures, plenty of storage, and a bidet-equipped toilet. We also appreciated access to the shared service room, which housed a washing machine, dryer, and iron—ideal for keeping our wardrobe fresh after days out exploring. Just a few minutes' stroll took us to the renowned thermal baths—pure bliss after a day of sightseeing—and the scenic Limmat promenade runs right alongside. Everything felt close enough to be convenient, but the apartment itself remained wonderfully peaceful. Our host, Marco, was responsive and friendly throughout. Before arrival, he checked in with us via WhatsApp to share check-in instructions, responded promptly to our questions, and even offered local tips that made our visit smoother. We left feeling refreshed, well-rested, and already planning our return.

We had a ball and would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone who wants accommodation in Bade

We loved the location and the space. We particularly enjoyed having appetisers on the back terrace in the afternoon sunshine. The mattress was excellent, and the topper on the sofa was also extremely comfortable. Our host, Marco, was keen to please us with a little welcome treat and several tips on places to go to eat etc. He was also a great help with organising the parking card.

It was a shame that we weren't given the tip to book an evening meal in the Thai restaurant almost next door (or any other local restaurant which were all fully booked when we got there. Also, brunch tips amounted to frustration as they looked wonderful, but again, they were more than fully booked for the whole weekend. A couple of little shortcomings in the apartment: no middle-sized plates (side plates), no mugs, a dodgy tap in the kitchen and bedside lamps in the master bedroom (which all only seemed to work with a good bash!) and an extra comfortable chair would have been handy. We also strongly felt that there should be TWO duvets on the master bed as we were friends staying together not lovers. (Marco kindly helped us to find an extra duvet which overcame that problem ;)

A Real Gem

Everything about this place is awesome! This place is a real gem!!! Absolutely loved it!! Great location, quiet and excellent facilities!!! I really valued the air-conditioned room, spacious and everything works! The Limmat River is a few metres away... great river views and a nice walkway. The customer experience and check-in was great and seamless! Will definitely be back!!

A lovely little stay

Perfect location, close to centre, station and thermal springs, right above a couple of really great cafes and yet close to mountains, next door to the river. Everything was perfect in terms of amenities, clean, and modern. Marco was super helpful and accessible even before we arrived, throughout our stay there and even after we checked out.

Probably the best spot to stay and enjoy Baden!

The host (Marco) was extremely kind and resourceful in information. There was even a small bottle of bubbly and some delicious strawberries waiting for us in the room!!! Everything in the room and bathroom is of very high quality standards. Very comfortable bed and pillows... perfectly clean... nothing more to wish for... Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance!!

Unfortunately there is no parking available at the property. There is indeed a public (very modern parking) nearby ... be ready to pay 27CHF for 24hours (which btw is not a surprise for Switzerland). Of course this will not stop us coming back :)

River Residence is an excellent choice for a short or long stay in Baden.

River Residence is located just next to the new Wellness Thermal bath and just a few steps away from Limmat, the river that crosses the city. One can enjoy a lovely walk along the river promenade and take advantage of the several cozy cafes and restaurants that are in walking distance from the apartment. Looking at the view from the apartment's balcony to the river and the nice buildings, one feels part of a movie scenery. The apartment itself is super comfortable, well designed and decorated and fully equipped with all the necessary -and not only- things. Marco -the host- is very friendly and helpful. He was available to anything we needed and -at the same time- discreet. The welcome strawberries and wine was a great offer/surprise to us.

The perfect stay in a beautiful country, we will return again soon!

Our host Marco could not have been more helpful and kind. We loved our stay and will definitely return and stay at the RIVER RESIDENCE again, next time we would love to try one of the rooms with a balcony. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, comfy beds and there was a bonus 'laundry room' which we had access to. We were close enough to town to easily walk but quiet and away from road noise........all in all the "PERFECT STAY" Many thanks to Marco and his wonderful team! Steve & Hannah

Riverside residence is a clean, well equipped and organised apartment in a pretty area of Baden.

The location in the Spa area of Baden was great and a lovely walk along the river path to the centre of Baden. Useful to have use of the washing and services area and a lift to access the apartment on the 1st floor. The kitchen and the bathroom/shower area had everything we needed for our stay.

Collecting the keys was seamless and very straight forward. Marco always kept in touch with us and was very accommodating. He was very attentive to all our needs and exceeded every request. We become great friends and are still in touch with Marco and his beautiful family. One thing for sure, River Residence will always be our go to spot when we visit Switzerland. Gute Lage, netter Gastgeber aber nächstes Mal nicht unsere Wahl

Lage und Sauberkeit. Der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht. Beim Ausschicken hatten wir eine Kühltasche im Apartment stehen lassen. Wir wurden darüber informiert, sodass wir es am gleichen Tag noch abholen konnten.

Ziemlich kleines modern eingerichtetes Zimmer und kleines Bad mit einer japanischen Toilette, keine Koffer Ablage. Für 2 Personen unkomfortabel eingerichtet. Essensduft zog abends heftig durch den Ventilator im Bad aus dem unteren Restaurant in das Apartment, sodass man lüften musste. Wenn der Ventilator ausgeschaltet war, hörte der Geruch auf. Dieser sollte eigentlich abgekoppelt von der unteren Küche sein. Der Gastgeber sagte, dass so etwas nie reklamiert wurde und hat sich freundlich bemüht, mit einer Wiedergutmachung aus der Küche, in Form eines "Sirup" und einige Pralinen, was gut gemeint war. Aber das ist nun mal tatsächlich passiert. Und dass diese Wiedergutmachung vom Restaurant in unserer Abwesenheit in das Zimmer unangekündigt hingestellt wurden, hat uns auch noch einmal irritiert, wegen unserer Privatsphäre.

Alles verliep soepel. Mooie locatie rustig. Ik denk dat het ook uitmaakt wanneer je hier komt. Ik had wat reacties gezien dat er veel geluidsoverlast was van buiten. Maar het is nu geen terras seizoen. Dus pleintje voor was leeg.

Die Wohnungen sind modern eingerichtet und haben eine gute Grösse. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Bei schönem Wetter ist der Lärm vom Restaurant vor dem Haus etwas störend. Aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern kein Problem.
