We booked this apartment at the last minute, around 8 p.m., after deciding not to stay in a more expensive nearby property which, despite having a higher rating on Booking.com, turned out to be a stifling hovel.
Barely 30 minutes later, Ante met us at the entrance to the building. The apartment was everything the other one wasn't: comfortable, well ventilated, clean outside and in, and welcoming.
As others have mentioned, it is on the fourth floor and there is no lift. After the nightmare we had narrowly avoided, however, we were more than happy to climb every step.

Location is perfect! You are close to everything and there is a small shop right across the street. Everything is within walking distance and the host is very helpful and kind.
The apartment is at the top floor so there is some stairs. Not a problem for me and my group, but people with physical disabilities should keep this in mind.

The property is located 5 minutes away from split centre/old town. It is a perfect location, as it is close to everything, but away from the busy city centre. There is a supermarket, ATM with free cash withdrawals, a lovely coffee shop and a bar right outside your door. The property has great air conditioning and has everything you need for your stay
It was 4 floors of stairs up. However, it did mean it was more peaceful and had a lovely view out of the window!

The manager Ante made contact through booking .com messaging with a contact number and instructions for when we arrived in Split. He was prompt to meet us with the keys. Ante also gave us advice about using taxi's etc so we wouldn't get ripped off and gave us his number which he said we could call anytime for advice. He also put some drinks in the fridge so we had some bottled water, orange juice, tonic water and some gin to get our holiday started so thanks Ante.
Apartment was also nice and clean so a credit to whoever cleans and prepares the apartment.
The climb up 4 floors of stairs in the heat. Also the beds were quite firm but that is down to personal preference so some people will like that.
