Villa Sealine

The view was amazing , watching the boats go by. Plenty of sun loungers and a nice pool. It is a little walk into Pefkos but we had a car and got taxis easily for about 7 euros when needed. You don’t need a car however as 20 minute walk to restaurants and beach.

The property was looking a little dated inside but it didn’t bother us as we didn’t spend much time inside and if it were updated would cost a lot more! Was value for money.

Location of Villa was better than expected and Villa itself was beautiful.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa. The house is lovely, and the pool area is really beautiful - just like the photos. The location was great, just a short walk down to little beach for a swim in the sea, and a couple of mins drive to many great restaurants. The beds were super comfortable so we all slept well. We didn’t cook whilst staying there but the kitchen was well stocked with salt/pepper/oil etc. Michalis was a great host - quick to respond to any questions we had.

The only thing that spoiled our stay slightly was that we had very low water pressure on the 1st day and no water for 7 hours on the 2nd day. This was not the villa’s fault, as it was an issue in the area, and Michalis tried hard to resolve it for us. The property grounds are so beautiful, but the view of the sea from the pool is slightly obstructed by trees/bushes. If they were cut back a bit, the view would be absolutely amazing :)

Die schöne Außenanlage, der wunderschöne und große Pool und die direkte Lage am Meer haben uns gut gefallen! Auch der Grill ist sehr praktisch für ein schönes Abendessen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer bei Problemen war sehr einfach möglich. Die Klimaanlage ist ein großer Vorteil beim heißen griechischen Sommerwetter: Leider ist die Klimatisierung bei 25°C abgeriegelt (kühler geht nicht) und sie hat in einem Zimmer manchmal nicht funktioniert.

Demgegenüber standen jedoch mehrere Mängel bei Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Instandhaltung: Ein Bettlaken war bei der Ankunft verschmutzt, wir konnten es zum Glück durch ein vorrätiges sauberes Bettlaken eigenständig ersetzen. Die Spülmaschine war während des gesamten Aufenthalts defekt und konnte anscheinend nicht mit hohen Temperaturen spülen, was zu Fettresten am Geschirr führte. Der Eigentümer war gut zu erreichen und hat auch Personal zur Reinigung und für einen Reparaturversuch geschickt, der Defekt der Spülmaschine konnte dadurch aber leider nicht behoben werden. Außerdem war die Küche in manchen Punkten schlecht ausgestattet (kaum Teelöffel, kaum scharfe Messer) und im Außenbereich gab es ein starkes Aufkommen von Ameisen. Diese ganzen Punkte wurden dem Preis von ca. 2500 € (für 5 Personen und einer Woche Aufenthalt) aus unserer Sicht nicht gerecht.
