Slatkovac village was the perfect pitstop on our way to MonteNegro and back. Half of distance between Budva and Bucharest. The quiet green pasture with pond, the old house with it's old time stories, with people from other time watching us from old yellowish wall hanged photos.....everything was perfect for us. I adore to sleep with open windows, hearing the morning sounds from courtyards around, smelling the pure mountain air, full of grass & flowers perfumes of this quiet nice place. The perfect morning came with the perfect balanced country breakfast : tasty burek, local yoghurt, sorts of natural housemade confiture, cream and local made bread, but also some sorts of extraordinary something made from pepper ....sorry can't remember the name but also can't forgot the fabulous taste. The most happier member of our family crew was Scott, our black & white friendly Border Collie, when running around the green courtyard, and making friends. Mosquitos....but we were prepared with RAID electric repellant and the score was 1-0 in our favor :)

This place is unique. Lovely hosts welcomed us with open arms. Homemade breakfast was delicious and probably the best we had on our trip in Serbia. It was a great experience to meet with the locals and talk to them. We really enjoyed.
