Spacious appartment, held back by horrendous check-in/out procedure and noisy neighbourhood

-despite other reviews, the facilities are pretty good with two bathrooms and a nespresso machine for instance. We were only lacking a toaster, but that is a minor detail
-the owner does not send any information up front regarding your arrival, so we only realized that we only had the street name and no house number when we already arrived on site. Subsequently it takes three phone calls to reach her, where she explains something in heavy french about a 350€ deposit. When the lady arrives to open the door we explain that one of us will get the money (5min detour) while she shows the other around. This was not allowed: no money, no entry. So they sent my wife and two small kids (2 & 4) back into the blistering heat and weren't even allowed to wait in the lobby ("as they may steal something" was the explanation). Check-out I call them at exactly 10:00 that we're ready to go (10 AM is the lastest checkout), she tells me to wait for 10min. Subsequently i wait for 20+min outside until someone arrives, who then has to check that everything is ok before i get my money back. The entire check-in and check-out process was simply infuriating. Furthermore, I cannot understand that the owner does not send a reminder about the deposit and the correct house number up front instead of heaving people wandering about in the blistering heat after a long drive.
-location is in a pedestrian-only zone, which means you have to haul all your stuff to / from the car by foot
-no ventilation in the bathrooms
-central location also meant live music every evening. I remember reading about this in other reviews, but in reality it was a lot more disturbing than we had expected. You can hear the noise quite clearly in the appartment and it goes on until after midnight.

Séjour en plein cœur des Saintes Marie de la Mer
La localisation est vraiment top. L’appartement très grand et bien équipé. En plein cœur de la ville mais nous n’avons pas été dérangé du tout par du bruit.
Pas gênant pour nous mais il faut monter un escalier pour aller dans l’appartement et il y a une belle chambre à l’étage où il faut monter un escalier supplémentaire.

La personne qui nous a remis les clés était vraiment agréable et chaleureuse. Après quelques explications, nous avons pu profiter de notre location en toute intimité.
L’appartement est superbe, propre, magnifiquement décoré les photos ne lui rendent vraiment pas justice. Il est dix fois plus beau en vrai !
L’emplacement est idéal. La climatisation est très appréciable. L’appartement est propre et bien aménagé. C’est une adresse à retenir : nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
Grâce à son emplacement central, tout peut se faire à pied. Si vous souhaitez profiter de l’ambiance extérieure, vous pouvez couper la climatisation et ouvrir les fenêtres. Une fois celles-ci fermées, le calme règne dans l’appartement. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Das Appartement ist groß und erstreckt sich über zwei klimatisierte Ebenen. Die Einrichtung ist modern und geschmackvoll und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber trotzdem zentral in der Altstadt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

L'emplacement en hyper centre, la proximité avec la vie du village, l'ambiance, les commodités...l'impression d'être comme à la maison, le charme de l'appartement décoré avec soin et l'accueil par une personne physique.
Petite amélioration: un aspirateur à disposition et pourquoi pas une rampe d'escalier pour faciliter l'accès aux personnes en difficulté de mobilité et en situation de handicap.
