    The accommodation is fine, but the owner’s attitude and tone were not welcoming. Arrived earlier than check-in time and was spoken to in a way that made us feel unwelcome. We decided not to stay and booked another place even though payment was already made.

    Love this place - good location near the main attractions like the Buddhist temples and the must visit Vongburi House. Though quite a distance from the fresh food market and night market at Victory Gate - I enjoy walking there. Can borrow a bicycle to explore too. Must stay on a Saturday because there is a walking street on the nearby street every Saturday evening. Will recommend the Northern Thai restaurant Kad Phra Non on the same street - must try Northern Thai food! What I like most is the caretaker - Sister Muu. Always friendly, jovial, easy going and I enjoy practicing my Thai with her. And listening her speaking Northern Thai when she arranged for a driver for me. She guided me on the attractions in the city. This is my final trip to Phrae and Northern Thailand - I doubt I meet her again.
