Le Moulin de Mansle

Das ist ein wunderschönes Quartier in ruhiger Lage mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf die Charente und perfekter Ausstattung. Obwohl man auch einen sehr schönen Garten direkt am Fluss nutzen kann, sind wir meistens drinnen geblieben (,wenn wir nicht unterwegs waren!), weil diese alte Mühle so wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist und man zu allen Seiten einen herrlichen Ausblick genießt. Der Empfang war überaus freundlich, Mariel hat uns alles erklärt und uns auch Brot und Marmelade für das erste Frühstück hingestellt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten sind äußerst gemütlich und bequem.

Das Bad ist relativ klein und schlecht zu lüften. Dafür hat jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad und es gibt zwei separate Toiletten.

Nous avons séjourné dans un endroit unique, bercé par la Charente. Le moulin à Beaucoup de charme, très agréable et fonctionnel , et son hôtesse est très attentive à notre bien être

Le Moulin is a really great place to stay. It’s very authentic French with its lovely furnishings and a view of the Charente river from every single window. You can see why over the years it has attained such high ratings from past guests. We loved its charm and location a short stroll to the Super U excellent Restaurants and a Patisserie 2 mins away. Mariel is a great host with her adjacent private gardens being an oasis for wildlife and birds that wake you every morning.We we’re not worried about no English TV or the noise of the river.

I suppose you have to say that the fridge wasn’t working as well as it could and a couple of bulbs were blown but we mentioned it at the end of our stay. Really small points and in no way effected our stay for 15 days just chilling out.
