I had certain expectations – but they were completely exceeded here. The location alone is beautiful, right in the middle of an island, almost surreal. But the real highlight is the food. And it’s not just ‘good’, it’s absolutely brilliant. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, full of flavour and simply delicious. You can tell straight away that someone here knows what they’re doing – no half-measures, no gimmicks without substance. The service was attentive, relaxed and just the right tone. Nothing was forced; it was genuinely hospitable. Bottom line: it’s worth it. Not just a bit, but really. Anyone who doesn’t go here is missing out.

Spacious rooms and bathroom, fantastic quality of linen and water pressure, with maybe the best restaurant on the island. The hosts organised for us amazing excursions. Thank you!
The double bed although the mattress and linen were of excellent quality, was a bit small for European couples.

The location is great, the staff is friendly and kind, and the food in the restaurant is okay.
It would have been a wonderful trip, but it was partially ruined by Elvira. In summary, she is the most unreasonable, uncommunicative, and unethical person I have ever met in the service industry, lacking basic human decency and manners. Here are a few things for your reference: 1. Upon arrival at the hotel, we needed to pay for the speedboat fee. We agreed on a time to make the payment, but she stood me up twice. I had to repeatedly adjust my plans according to her new "orders" just to wait for her. 2. Another guest and I rented a canoe from the hotel. Shortly after paddling, one of the paddles broke. When we returned to the hotel and explained the situation to her, she demanded that we pay for it. That would have been fine, but when I mentioned that the paddle already had cracks in it (not to deny that we broke it, but to explain that it was worn out), she impatiently said, "So it broke on its own? You don’t want to pay, right? Fine, then don’t pay." She then turned around and stormed off, slamming the door. However, not long after, she contacted the other guest online, demanding that we pay $55 and accusing us of refusing to take responsibility. In the end, we paid. She completely ignored the safety hazard that the worn-out paddle posed to guests (imagine drifting away at sea because a paddle breaks, leaving you unable to return). 3. Another friend of mine came to visit me. Elvira brought him to my room without knocking and just opened the door directly. 4. Her online communication with another guest was equally unreasonable and shameless. Because this guest was on the flight to the Maldives and couldn’t reply to her immediately, she accused him, saying, "I have to ask you two or three times about every question." She also claimed to have a "spotless reputation for 10 years." How ridiculous—does she ignore the reviews about her just on Booking? She herself is the spot.
