It’s was good for going snowboarding. Staff were amazing and very helpful. Organising discounted lift passes not a problem for them and help with gear hire too. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed

With two glasses of champagne handed out, the host seemed to have plenty of time telling us the current state of various ski slopes nearby and really saved a large portion of our efforts in getting ski rentals and lift passes. That made us carefree to start hitting the slopes the following day. Breakfast was superb and on par with Michelin level.

I loved the 3-course breakfast, coffee mornings, lounge, easy access to buy discounted ski tickets, the staff's full attention to our needs (although few), the pickup from the bus station, the quiet nights, the included laundry, and much more. I work in travel & tourism and have stayed in many 4-5-star hotels, and the value, quality, and attentiveness that Eternal Flame delivers are on par. This is a small, intimate place to stay. I loved the private onsen that we used every day. This place is worth every penny.

Very welcoming family run business. Loved the communal lounge area, massage chairs and onsen after a day on the slopes. Special touches like a welcoming drink, lolly jar and private onsens a bonus. Free Shuttle bus across the road. Breakfast was different every day. Super friendly staff
