Great location, got everything you need, friendly host

The apartment is very conveniently located, super close to the lake side and the beach/park

I agree with others who have mentioned the heavy smoking smell on the balcony and that you can hear the neighbours. But if you fondly remember living in a shared flat, this shouldn't be a problem ;-)

Building is terribly noisy

TERRIBLY NOISY, the building has poor noise insulation so you hear everything the neighbors do. Day and night! I could't relax. Bathroom noise, water pipe noise, cooking noise, I almost understood what neighbors were talking about when door of the balcony was closed. I even hear snoring during the nigh.... I decided to leave this flat after two days because I wanted to relax in a quite place of Switzerland and work from home but I could not concentrate. So this is not a problem with the neighbors but a problem with the building itself. Very bad quality. Defect like this should be mentioned in the description because it makes your stay so unconfortable. Owner isn't professionnal and doesn't care about unhappy customer. Very bad experience with you mr Kieper. Next time I will visit Switzerland i'll pay little more to live in a decent flat.

Terribly noisy because of poor noise insulation. Not a problem of neighbors but building from 60' or 70' is very bad quality. I don't understand how people can live in place like this where you can hear neigboors snoring, water pipes, cooking noise, and neighbors talking so clearly.

Very good location, very good appartement with all you need. Fantastic view from the very big balcon with a table and everything useful. Promenade along the lake is unforgettable impression!!! Comfortable climate in the flat, not hot in the very hot days. I'l want to come back. Nice neighbours, nice building.

Not very comfortable times of check-in. It is impossible to achieve appartment before 12.00 o'clock from Geneve, so you need to be a few hours in Geneve.

Kostengünstige Möglichkeit Montreux und Umgebung zu besuchen

Die Unterkunft verfügte über ein reichhaltiges Entertainment Paket. Es war möglich alle wichtigen deutschen Sender zu empfangen. Auch Netflix, YouTube usw. war mit eigenen Zugangsdaten möglich. Internet war vorhanden. TV Angebot war somit besser als in den meisten Hotels. Die Bushaltestelle ist nur 1-2 Minuten entfernt, der Bus fährt die meiste Zeit im 10 Minuten Takt und man ist in weniger als 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt von Montreux. Ein Supermarkt ist nur eine Busstation entfernt, es war alles wichtige beim Einzug vorhanden (Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Klopapier usw.) Ich werde bestimmt wieder kommen.

Manchmal ist es nachts, wenn man das Fenster auf hat, etwas laut (laute Autos, schreiende Nachbarn usw.) Da kann die Unterkunft aber nichts für, das sind einfach andere Urlauber die keine Rücksicht nehmen.

Tolle Lage, gemütlich

Man war schnell am See, an einem ruhigeren Teil, was ich gut finde. Die Wohnung war sauber, man hatte auch etwas seeblick von Balkon aus. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Der Check in war etwas problematisch, da niemand englisch sprach, sondern nur französisch. Wundert mich etwas wenn man Ferienwohnungen an Touristen vermietet. Wenigstens so die Basics braucht man doch dann im Alltag. Ein Bett war nicht nutzbar, da es wirklich total durchgelegen war. War für mich als Alleinreisende nicht schlimm, aber für andere wäre das problematisch.
