The location is perfect!
The toilet (shower)

The apartment is in a great location, about a 15-minute walk from the city center, which is very convenient.
However, it’s quite noisy, as the building is old and actually shakes a bit every time the tram passes by. The lighting could definitely be improved – there are no ceiling lights, which makes the place feel dim, especially in the evenings. Also, please provide a proper duvet cover for the beds. One more thing: the freezer isn’t working.

Location was great.
There’s nothing I did not like. Everything was great.

Spacious apartment, clean, good kitchen. Was nice that I had basics like sugar, salt, olive oil if you fancy cooking.
Very noisy from the road all night. Windows could be soundproof, ear plugs could be provided.

Located in the heart of the old town
Property is very dated. Not very comfortable for my family. Didn’t even have any towels.

Location. Cleanliness. Spacious. Well equipped with all utensils. Service provided by management/team.
The WiFi did not work.

It was relatively close to Duomo square.
When we checked in there was no hot water which was fixed. It was very difficult to get an answer generaly to our emails. We asked to leave our luggage somewhere for 3 hours after check out and they gave us 2 completely different answers. As a result we had to take the luggage with us.

The location is the only thing that this place has going for it.
In the 15 years I have stayed at holiday rentals, this is the first negative review I have ever had to write but unfortunately it is thoroughly deserved. When you pay this price for a place to stay, you expect to be able to arrive and shower, enjoy a warm drink, and watch tv as a bare minimum.
The shower is very challenging to use. There is a large door with frosted glass that faces out to a service area with no privacy curtain. The floor was stained and there was an unpleasant odour. The stains on the toilet roll holder and other stains around the toilet would suggest this was years of urine build-up.
The shower itself has been installed inside a small bathtub that is shaped for sitting in, and the shower curtain cuts through the already limited space for standing. The showerhead only clips onto the wall at waist level. It is an unpleasant place to get clean. Everywhere I looked in the bathroom, there was grime.
The kettle and cappuccino maker were dirty and unlike most places there were no sachets of tea or coffee or sugar provided, as well as no coffee pods. There was no microwave despite this being listed.
The TV remote had the wrong type of batteries inside with no replacements around, so the TV was unusable.
The scuff marks and stains elsewhere show that there is no pride taken in these apartments and bad customer experiences are to be expected. I regret booking this accommodation and would warn others against booking it themselves.
After the stay I contacted Mila apartments to make it clear I was dissatisfied – in response I got a standardised email with a feedback link that had no option for leaving comments to improve their service. Overall, I’ve come away feeling like there is a lack of care once they have taken your money.

Shower and noise from upstairs
6.0 / 10.0
The location is good, close to metro and in the centre of the city.
The space was good enough for 4 people.
The ceiling is literally made up of wood, you can see it - makes the rooms very dark, in addition the amount of light was insufficient so we felt in dark even during the day. You can hear almost every noise done at the apartment above yours. There was no possibility to close the bath room. It was very hard to get response from the staff behind the bot in WhatsApp. You can open the outer to the street door from inside only with the key - needed someone to hold the door while I returned the key to the key box near the room. Reported about missing plug adapter and microwave on the first evening, adapter was brought on the next day, microwave two days later, evening before checkout. No basic supply for a room with kitchen - no sugar, 3 big spoons for 4 people room. When the carbon alarm got on during cooking there was no one to talk with except the bot, so needed to resolve it by myself.

The apartment was spacious for three of us and well furnished. The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of many major attractions. A grocery store was only a short walk away.
Even though the apartment had 2 airconditioning units, these were not adequate to cool the apartment. It was unable to cool below 29 degrees which is not a comfortable temperature.
Even though the apartment had a washing machine, no drying rack was provided to hang the clothes up to dry on.
The ironing board was a joke - it was extremely small - so small that you really were not able to iron anything on it.

Great location and nice ambiance. There are stone floors and a wooden ceiling. The apartment is well equipped. There's a well working dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, tea kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. The two air conditioners also work great.
They even send you a "room manual" web page, where you can find the links to all the equipment in the room. Very convenient.
We had our windows going out into the patio, so it was pretty quiet.
The location itself is perfect: the street itself is beautiful and it's 10 minutes to the Duomo and the main square. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby.
Would definitely recommend!

I liked the location, close to key places and shops. Had a comfortable stay. Place is big with complete kitchen facilities.
The lighting needs improvement. Maybe consider adding a safe.

The location.
Communication with host was slow and frustrating, even during business hours. The bathroom was old and shabby, the toilet seat was held by sticky tape, and the towels were very old. The pod machine had only one pod for a 3 night stay of two people and the floor could use a good clean.

Perfect location and about 15 minute walk from main tourist attractions. Apartment was really cozy, clean, warm and quiet. The bed was perfect, the linen and towels smelled nice. Water pressure was good. Bathtub was small, so 2 people at the same time will not fit in ;) In the kitchen you will find all necessary things, but it would be nice if there was coffee and tea as well. The natural light that comes to the apartment is amazing. Italian radio created exactly the atmosphere that you would expect :) And the cozyness of the bedroom...wow!🥰 I would definetely recommend this apartment to friends and I would love to visit it again in the future❤️

I was expecting a nicer apartment. This was unappealing and plainly-furnitured. Also, the building was old and scruffy.

Perfect location close to the Duomo and all other attraction.
The ironing board was really tiny and uncomfortable to be used. The shower didn't have proper curtain so the water spilled onto the floor.

Street noise is significant.

good location however as summer most things shut
floor was very dirty, aircon was very poor- i e actually were moved rooms as the first unit didn’t have aircon that worked properly- this one was slightly better but still not great. it’s a very very hot unit in summer. the bathroom was like a sauna , and with two small children - would not recommend. No tv in lounge (was in bedroom which was a little weird)
none of the numbers listed online or in the room worked to call for help, was only after contacting booking.com someone came

The only good part was the location of the property.
Checkin was not easy at all. The message send did not had a code. We had difficult entering the apartment.
The customer care never picked up the phone despite calling during working hours. I lost a lot of money on roaming. We had to figure out ourselves. Most amenities were old. Will not stay ever in apartments run by such companies. For some reason the customer care only replied at 4.30 AM in the morning. Even emergency number did not worked.

Only location of the property as it was really centrally located
There is a list of things which were quite surprising for me as I went ahead with this apartment believing its listed in Booking.com and would be a good pace to stay at.
1. The beds were super uncomfortable making sounds as you turn.
2. Curtains and entire apartment were so old and not well maintained . Some of the curtain were coming off. there were random files and magazines in the drawers
3. I also found cameras in each room although believe they were taped but felt quite uncomfortable with it
4. The building and stairs were so old and not refurbished at all, my 5 years old daughter feel from the stairs as she was going down from first floor to ground
5. The bathroom and floors were not properly cleaned and very bad quality toiletries were provided(literally 2 sachets of shower gel) where we were staying there for three days
6. Kitchen was not clean the gas knobs had burn marks and very dirty
7. At night I could hear noises from upstairs even when people were walking, there was stinking smell from the wood in the ceiling even few lights on the roof were not working
8. The AC made so much noise that we could not sleep at all at night

Of course Corso Magenta is a nice location
Not clean at all! Very old facilities and the bathroom was dirty with mold and hair, the bathtub was a ‘50 half seated bathtub and the shower hose was so short that couldn’t be accommodated on its hanger on the wall. The pillows were smelly and the mattresses were too old. I’m still waiting for a refund of 3€ bc the first night my guest didn’t show up as I had anticipated it during my endless explanation to the property.

The location of the property is great! Close to the center and the main metro station.
The AC was not really working, the room was hot and humid and it wasn’t very clean.

Bed and pillows. Noisy from the street with cars and train.

The property itself was fine.
However, due to a lack of cybersecurity by the host, we've been scammed out of EUR 1022. The host sent us a message through the official booking.com messages and via the booking.com email address that we would have to pre-pay for the apartment to confirm the booking. Now they are refusing to take responsibility for their lackluster cybersecurity.

Space
Bed mattress of poor quality.
Also there was no cold water in the bathroom. Could not shower or flush toilet. Took a day to figure out why. Did not get human voice when called for help. Got no response to emails sent…

I liked how easy was the check in process and the location of the property. Also I liked that the apartment is well inside the main building so that we couldn't here the noise from the street.
The bathroom is ok, but the bath/shower is small and not well screened, while taking a shower the water would overflow on the floor.

The location.
Two strange things about this place or who I dealt with (1) Being communicated to with threats from the get-go was obviously not the way to hep your paying guests feel welcome. (2) I got the sense the place was being video monitored and felt very uncomfortable the whole time I was there. Regarding the first issue, there were ongoing messages in the lead up to my checking in that were simply harassing, "Pay or we'll cancel your booking".... "Update details or we'll change the access code to the apartment".... "Do this action or .....". With such threats and poor customer service, I was uncomfortable before I got to the apartment. Once I arrived, the alarm sensors were active each time you walked past and the unease of feeling like there was other monitoring going on just meant I couldn't relax. All communication was through the booking.com message service and signed off as "Milan apartments" - I had to ask for a name of a person. I asked for a taxi to be booked when I left as my phone wouldn't dial out, they said No. Gave me a taxi service app that apparently worked on WhatsApp but the minute you put your number in your phone, it says the taxi service doesn't even using What's App. The basic things that assist a traveller have a smoother experience and there was no-one available to assist, just "no" or "can't/don't do that". It's clear these people don't know the nuances of travel to make their guests time just that little bit easier. Once you've paid and checked in they're hands off, you never meet anyone. I still kept getting automated messages about check out 6 days after I checked out I had to sternly ask them to stop the incessant communication as it was becoming harassing. Will never book this apartment or through Milan Apartments again, it was so uncomfortable in so many ways.
