Salt Water Villa

Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt am Meer gelegen. Wir haben den Garten und Pool sehr genossen. Die Villa ist sehr schön, gut gepflegt und sauber. Der Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit dort wieder unsere Ferien verbringen und können es jedem empfehlen.

Everything! The villa was fantastic, beautifully furnished, 3 lovely double rooms, a big salt water pool (freshly cleaned & filled), 2 bathrooms upstairs & an extra shower room in the games area downstairs, great kitchen with everything needed, towels provided for the pool as well as the bathrooms. The view from the garden/pool area was amazing: straight over the ocean & there was an access down the cliff to the sea also. Table tennis table. Special thanks to our host - André - he made sure we were welcomed, helped to settle in, had all the info needed. He really went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful place to stay: we all said it was like staying at a friend's home, not just someone renting out a place. Location is great.

To visit Madeira you really do need a car (as André had pre-advised) but the roads can be very steep, so get one with a good engine & handbrake. A small car can be parked at the villa but we had a large car & so had to park at the street entrance - however, there is parking there & we always managed. Some people might not like being under the flight path to the airport, but we enjoyed it and there are only flights from time to time and rarely at night.
