Really nice hotel and cozy village, quiet

The location is nice to have a stop on the way

My husband bumped his head into the clothes hanger and got a bit injured. The owner was very helpful and kind to do some quick disinfection. I do think it is very dangerous for ppl who is above 185 as the edge is too sharp. Hope it can be improved

Far exceeding our expectations

Its a really nice place to stay. We were 4adults and 1 2 year old kid. The apartment was super big with all amenities we needed and much much more. Loved the small village it's located in. Also very conveniently located. Took us 30mins to cochem. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately we were staying for a day. Next time for atleast 2 to 4 days we will stay

Overall we are happy with our stay but it could have been completely different.

The flat was big, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful. Beautiful park nearby. The proximity of Vulcaneifel Therme was wonderful.

There is no supermarket in the town which is crucial for us as we are self-catering. We were dependent on our host who kindly drove us to the supermarket in the nearby town. Restaurant or pizzeria can also be closed as there are no enough people. And if you are a vegetarian it is a complete catastrophe.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Posthotel! We traveled with 3 kids, including a 2 year old. We booked 2 apartments. They were very spacious and had everything we needed. The little town is charming, nestled between mountains with a small river. Highly recommended

The lady did not speak English at all. She was very bureaucratic, everything must be in her way and no customer care. We booked with breakfast at 15 euro for each of us, but she said no breakfast because of Sunday. Had I known it I would have booked for a different place. No information about restaurant given. We found many restaurants were closed and ended up having dinner at the terrace of the restaurant when the temperature was 42 degrees (Fahrenheight).

Beautiful furniture and decoration. Very quiet location. Elevator to all levels. Kitchen has a dishwasher.

The bed sheets smelled bad. No common supermarket nearby. Parking lot available, but can be a tight fit if you arrive late in the evening.

Unexpected beauty and huge space. A true "rare find".

The apartment was what you don't expect in rentals but realize the beauty and importance if you get it: meaning it was huge, tastefully done, had an amazing view and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located in this beautiful village amidst mountains. It was a fairy tale village and the hotel room was where you would love to live for the rest of your life. The hostess was super kind and stayed to give us the key for our late arrival. The hotel has parking behind. There is a café in the hotel and many more right outside in the street. The Thermal bath is like 300 meters away, and you can see it at the end of the street (the tallest building in that area). There is a beautiful church right behind the hotel, you can see it from the balconies and at 100 meters are stairs which take you straight to the church.

There is nothing to dislike about the hotel and the village.

Perfect apartment, no effort to solve WiFi problem, speaking German is a must.

The apartment was big enough and well equipped. The owner checked us in around 23.00

1. Communication and non-responsiveness issues (the owner does not speak English and we don't speak German) (We could not get answer for our date change requests). 2. There was a WiFi problem and we could not see any effort to solve it. Details: 1. We tried to change our staying dates after we booked, but because of partially refund policy, we had to contact with the hotel. I called her, but we could not understand each other. After that I sent two emails in German, but still no answer. The last day I got a negative answer. So we could not change our travel plans. As a result, we found the owner non-responsive. 2. During our stay, I asked for the WiFi password and tried to connect. I saw the WiFi (WLAN-Posthotel_EXT, typed the password, but there was an error with a message "No internet connection" (see the attached picture). I advised her to restart the modem, and she advised me to go down to the first floor hallway and use the other connection :), instead of restarting the modem (which is actually not a technical issue) . My cellphone was even in Edge connection (mostly no connection). So without internet it was really boring.

Gute und ruhige Lage in einer Fußgängerzone mit Balkon. Die Wohnung und das Haus, sauber und alles da was man braucht. Preisleistung ist super! Vermieter freundlich !

Das einzige was mal erneuert werden könnte, wäre das Wohn und Esszimmer, das wirkt etwas alt und passt nicht zum Still der sonst schönen Einrichtung.

Gemütlich, aber mit deutlichen Mängeln

Bei unserer Ankunft gab es kleine Unannehmlichkeiten, was wir jedoch nachvollziehen können, da unvorhergesehene Umstände immer eintreten können. Wir haben uns daher entschieden, den Rest des Tages in der Therme zu verbringen. Als wir von der Therme zurückkehrten, erwartete uns eine Entschuldigung des Besitzers sowie zwei kleine Kuchen . Vielen Dank dafür! Die Wohnung ist geräumig und funktional, jedoch sehr altmodisch eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns wie bei unserer Großmutter oder in die siebziger Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts zurückversetzt.

Besonders störend war für uns der unangenehme Geruch, sowohl im Apartment als auch im Flur des Gebäudes. Es roch nach veralteten oder abgestandenen Möbeln – fast wie in einem Altersheim. Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal war ebenfalls erschwert, da die Deutschkenntnisse sehr gering sind. Englisch war, nach unserem Eindruck, leider auch nicht hilfreich. Die Heizung wurde vor 8 Uhr morgens ausgeschaltet, obwohl die Außentemperatur nur etwa 5 Grad betrug. Das ist inakzeptabel!

Slechte communicatie per mail. Ik las van anderen in de reviews dat hotelgasten€ 20 moesten bijbetalen wanneer ze later dan 18 uur zouden inchecken . Ik heb van tevoren twee keer een bericht gestuurd met de vraag om later te kunnen arriveren en heb daar niks op terug gehoord. Uiteindelijk zekere voor onzekere genomen en gezorgd er voor 18:00 uur te zijn. Geen normale supermarkt in de omgeving.

Op voorhand waren ze niet te bereiken via de chat van booking. Ik had een verzoek ingediend om later in te checken, maar ontving geen bevestiging dus heb ik ze gebeld. Telefonisch kreeg ik dan de bevestiging om later te mogen inchecken (in zeer gebrekkig Engels). Bij aankomst was er geen receptie en/of persoon aanwezig om ons te ontvangen. Na een tiental minuten werd er toch opengedaan en werden we onvriendelijk ontvangen. De boze vrouw zei dat we een som van €20 moesten betalen wegens laat inchecken, terwijl ik hun wel had gecontacteerd! Voor het uitchecken was het opnieuw zoeken naar iemand om ons te helpen met de check out.

Rustig en ruim. Vintage look, wat we allen super vonden. Zet proper en verzorgd. Vriendelijke ontvangst.

Het bed in de kleine kamer (eenpersoonsbed) was niet comfortabel, kraakte en de matras lag niet gelijk. Geen douche in de badkamer, wel een bad onder de schuine kant van het dak. Dus ene douche nemen in het bad was zeker niet makkelijk: maar dat is een detail, waar we ons aan hebben aangepast. Al bij al geen onoverkomelijke zaken.

Lage und Parkplatz und Fahrstuhl sind toll. Der Ventilator war bei über 30 Grad Außentemperatur gold wert.

Het zou fijner zijn als er in plaats van een slaapbank er twee losse bedbanken waren voor onze pubers. Helaas was er geen mogelijkheid om te ontbijten.

Heel ruim appartement. Fijn ruim balkon. Nette keuken mat alle benodigdheden. Ruime schone badkamer met heerlijke douche.

Om bij het hotel te komen moet je met de auto door voetgangersgebied rijden. Het duurde even voordat ik de lokale verkeersregels aan mijn laars besloot te lappen.
