I would never book there again!

We reserved a room with a walk out pool and had a 2 level room. We continued to tell them of our Air conditioning problems for 3 days before we was offered a room until they can fix the issue.

A Hidden Jewel in Ubud

The outlook was blissful - green green green with the unintrusive wildlife that goes with the green. The creek immediately below the Villas was a constant calming sound. The staff, to the last person, were simply awesome. They couldn't do enough for us. Almost embarrassing at times. Fun, bubbly locals who wanted to make sure our stay was an 11 out of 10 experience. If there was a minor issue (and we did find a couple), it was sorted as quickly as possible. Sometimes within minutes. We were sincerely thanked for bringing issues to their attention. If they don't know, they can't fix it. EG. The refrigerator door seal was shot. Pointed it out - next day a new fridge! Private. Quiet. Just a delightful week. AND just 10 or 15 minutes drive to town in the complimentary shuttle!

We didn't tell them about this issue, because it wasn't going to be an easy fix. The water mixer in the main ensuite was a shocker. Scalding to cold to scalding with less than a millimetre's movement. So we showered outdoors by the pool a lot 😊 I hope they read this and begin the planning to fix it 😊

Great stay

The villa was lovely with our own private pool, it was a great place to relax after looking around Ubud. The staff were exceptional. The restaurant and spa were also very convenient.

Nothing we didn’t like, it’s a way out of town, but a grab was just $6 or there are shuttles.

Beautiful Grya Shanti

So peaceful and serene. Beautiful Villa, was so happy with this Villa and the staff so kind and met all our wants and needs. We walked around, was so awesome to meet locals, hopped in a gojek at such a small price to get to Monkey forest, a must experience, restaurants cafes and shopping was so fantastic. Enjoyed every bit of it. We did all the adventure things here. Was amazing.

Blissful stay to say the least!

Very nice property with ample space for the size of our family (2+2). Private pool was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us, specially kids. Location also was quite convenient with a small taxi ride to the centre. Shout out to Anggreni for making our stay even more comfortable and for little surprise cake for my Daughters birthday...

Beautiful private villa with pool and very friendly and helpful staff!

Staff were the best, easy communication through whatsapp for whenever you need something. They respond very fast and have everything ready for you. The villa was also very spacious, and you have your private pool. They have a restaurant, offer classes, shuttle services and there’s a spa, we booked the Hot and cold stone massage it was very relaxing:)

Peaceful Ubud retreat with lush views, warm staff, spacious rooms, and relaxing vibes

We stayed at Griya Shanti Ubud for three nights, and it was truly one of the most peaceful and rejuvenating experiences I’ve had in Bali. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Balinese hospitality & blessing. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling – they went out of their way to ensure every part of my stay was comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with traditional Balinese touches. I especially loved waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the lush green views from the villa. If you’re looking for serenity, this place delivers in spades. The location is ideal – close enough to Ubud center to explore the shops, restaurants, and attractions, but tucked away in a quiet area surrounded by rice fields and nature. The best of both worlds! Breakfast was a highlight every morning – fresh, delicious, and served with a view. I also tried one of their spa treatments and left feeling totally refreshed. Whether you’re in Ubud to relax, write, do yoga, or just disconnect from the business of life, Griya Shanti is a perfect sanctuary.

Tip - you are based in a forest so be wise to bring ear buds for night time & the animals can be quite vocal in the early hours.

The relaxation, the privacy, the environment says rest, relax, I've got you. The restaurant was efficient and the food good.

The pictures of the infinity pool coming straight off your bedroom is not accurate, but pool just downstairs off your personal kitchen. The kitchen had no gas. The driveway in is not wide. My driver had to be very careful.

Wonderful hotel

Wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom Villa with its own pool which was amazing. Great value, staff very welcoming and it’s also set in a lovely, peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of ubud. There’s a free hotel shuttle to ubud centre and there are also plenty of taxis around. We loved our stay and would highly recommend .

Gem of a property in a great location

Excellent service and very helping nature. Cheerful staff trying to make sure your stay is comfortable. Very quick to respond to any requests. Beautiful property and great location easy to go anywhere. They think of everything you would need and had a well stocked villa.

Quite, peaceful villa with a private pool

Quite and peaceful, feels closer to nature (a perfect gateway from buzzing citylife), very friendly & helpful staff, prompt services, hot water takes a few minutes the first time, good aircon, tv has Netflix entertainment (helped us keep the kids busy when needed), very good spa, limited but enough breakfast option sets (served very graciously by staff, my kids loved the pancakes)

Villas are nice and private, big pool for a private villa. Location is nice, set back from the centre so peaceful and quiet but quick 10-30 minute drive to all attractions/excursions. Indonesian dishes are delicious

Perfect stay for your honeymoon

I had an absolutely excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. They were very helpful with any questions I had and offered great recommendations for local spots, which really enhanced my trip. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout the stay, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The place itself was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It had everything I needed and more. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A wonderful stay to enjoy Bali

Very kind and helpful people. The view from the Cafe. The pool. The rooms. The villa is as you see on the booking.com website. Fairly nicely located though not too closed to Ubud town. Very well planned so privacy is good. Lot of attention paid to elevation and visual barriers between villas.

May become a little disturbing if people in the adjacent villas are in party mode. We got that briefly only.

Stayed in the 3-bedroom villa, which was spacious for a large family or group. Facilities were in great condition and the staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
