It was everything excellent

I didn’t like drinking a delta espresso in a paper cup in a five star hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Montebelo Vista Alegre Hotel. The hotel is very comfortable, with spacious and relaxing areas that make it easy to unwind. One of the highlights is the design: the way the modern architecture blends with the historic surroundings is beautifully done, creating a perfect balance between the new and the old. The location is also excellent, especially for anyone interested in Vista Alegre. Being so close to the museum and the Vista Alegre stores makes the experience feel complete and very convenient. It is a great place to appreciate the history, craftsmanship, and elegance of the brand while enjoying a high-quality hotel stay. Overall, the Montebelo Vista Alegre Hotel offers comfort, style, and a unique cultural setting. I would definitely recommend it.

There were no real negative points during my stay, and nothing that would be a deal breaker. The hotel is already excellent, but there are a few small details that could make the experience even better. It would be helpful to have more electric vehicle charging points available, especially as more guests travel with electric cars. Also, because the hotel is quite large, it can sometimes be a little easy to get lost. The room numbering is not always straightforward, as some number ranges seem to skip, which can make finding your room slightly confusing at first. The elevators can also be a bit slow at times, and the stairs are not always easy to locate, so improving the signage could be useful. Overall, these are only minor points and did not affect the quality of the stay. They are simply suggestions to improve what is already an excellent hotel.

Breakfast was great - lots of options. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The room was lovely - lots of room. We very much enjoyed the view of the river. Both pools were great, although at times very, very busy. The museum was fantastic - I would highly recommend taking the tour. The hotel was a little bit away from Aveiro and Costa Nova, but we very much enjoyed that aspect.

It might have been nice to have the pool available to adults only for maybe the last hour of the day... perhaps extend the hours to have one additional hour of adults only. Although we loved seeing the families enjoying themselves, it might have been nice to have a little quiet.
