Papaya Hikkaduwa bevind zich in een fijne stille omgeving en heeft prachtige huisjes en een heerlijk zwembad. Onze host (Charlotte) heeft ons enorm geholpen met de planning van onze reis en lokale tips. Zo waren er snorkelspullen beschikbaar om mooi op Turtle Beach te snorkelen.

Het gordijn is nogal lichtdoorlatend, dus in de nacht komt er veel licht de kamer in en heb je weinig privacy.

Cadre magnifique et idyllique. Tout est à disposition pour passer un merveilleux séjour. Entre la piscine immense, propre, filets de badminton, pétanque, jeux de sociétés. Il y a aussi à disposition une cuisine, de l’eau à volonté, un petit salon intérieur et extérieur. La chambre était très grande, propre, neuf, confortable, une cuisine dans la chambre ainsi que des placards. Eau chaude + pression dans la salle de bain, double serviettes pisicne/douche. La chambre bénéficie d’une terrasse très appréciable. Petite étang qui passe dans le jardin. Et le plus ce sont les gérants notamment Marie qui est française d’origine comme nous, nous avons pu beaucoup échangé, très serviable et arrangeante. Rapport qualité prix dingue et imbattable

Le deuxième lit simple de la chambre (3 personnes) était tout de même dur

It was very dated and the units and grounds need a good overhall. No tv in either of the rooms worke we tried. We ended up having to get an individual router to get WIFI which i needed for work. The only redeeming thing were the staff who were very pleasant but swimming up hill with trying to achieve customer satisfaction. So many broken/tired fascets down to the shower trays being cracked in both rooms,shower head falling off the wall,odd blue tape on the windows and doors making the rooms very dingy. Terribly cracked and uneven paths on the walkways making it dangerous. And the whole thing surrounded by a dirty swamp like pond and stream. I could go on but you get what I mean. You get the picture. Another couple complained so much they were given a room at their sister hotel the Eden Blue as they were equally dissatisfied.
