Domaša Zelená Lagúna

Such a lovely hotel in a quiet location with a great view. We stayed in one of the small cottages which we loved as we were nestled in the pine trees. There was a private beach with sunbeds and although the lake was low you could still swim in it.The swimming pool was lovely and cool after a hot day out and about. The restaurant and food was great and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. We would love to come back someday as we really felt recharged and refreshed after staying for only a short time.

Food, especially the breakfast bufet, dinner a la carte was so-so but not a 4-star experience. Breakfast buffet was poor, little choice, little on the plates, they told us at 9 that the kitchen is closed and they can’t add fruit or bread while the breakfast was supposed to be open until 10. The morning service was not very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the hotel many times before and the morning buffet was excellent. It got poor last couple of years.

The room was fantastic with the terrace and lake view fantastic bed we had good night sleep. Lovely staff especially in the restaurant breakfast and dinner time, we had a great chat with gentleman who I believe was a HOD didn’t catch his name sorry but we had lots to talk about as he used to work in London and we came from UK. Great place definitely will be back if we will be visiting Slovakia again.

Nothing bad but we stayed in the room with our son and we had 2 pillows, it would be nice to have another pillow for him. We have used cushion instead.

I stayed in this hotel on my way to Poland. The location of the hotel is superb. We arrived at the hotel at night, and in the morning the chirping of the birds woke us up very pleasantly. You say you were in a corner of heaven. Comfortable beds and very pleasant staff. We will definitely go there if we have another chance. I highly recommend!
