Guruwaththa Eco Lodge

Warm, genuine welcome from hosts with an excellent concept of the needs and expectations of European travellers. The spacious bathroom was first class, with rainfall and power shower, quality linens and towels, complimentary toiletries , free use of a washing machine and clotheshorse. King coconut upon arrival and a beautifully appointed bedroom with a peaceful, furnished, private balcony...not overlooked by an adjoining property. The view over fields and gardens was lovely, and the property is laid back from a small country road, so very little traffic noise or noise from barking dogs. The furnishings are in keeping with the Eco theme and recycling was encouraged. A kettle,full fridge freezer, one ring burner and toaster were provided. A walk of ten minutes takes you to the main road where you can catch bus 388/1 to Turtle beach( five mins), the main centre, and the main bus and train station. On the main road there is an excellent bakery, with pineapple crumble, cinnamon rolls, ciabatta rolls and sourdough, with the local beach directly in front. The local beach was superb, with sunbeds, excellent restaurants and world class sunsets.....all only minutes away from this comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended. We stayed on the upper floor, room 4. Sun and shade in equal measure. Perfect!

Die super freundliche Gastgeberin begrüßte uns mit einer Kokosnuss und zeigte uns das Zimmer. Super geschmackvoll und schick eingerichtet, eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein ruhiger Balkon abseits des Trubels. Für uns mit Kind perfekt und ruhig. Mit dem TukTuk oder Roller ist man in 1min an der Hauptstraße.

de Villa is een stukje van het strand afgelegen waardoor je een heerlijk rustig verblijf hebt. De kamers zijn prachtig en de familie is super aardig. We hebben tot 2x toe ons verblijf verlengt. Zeker een aanrader!!
