On arrival at around 5pm, the receptionist showed her annoyance as I had interrupted her dinner.
She also had trouble finding my booking and appeared flustered.
That night at 12, after coming back from exploring, the hotel was closed. I had to ask the security guard to open the outside gate and open the front door for me. Then in the bedroom, I discovered that there was no shampoo and shower gel. Oh well, just a water shower then.
The next day I asked reception about the toiletries, she blamed housekeeping.
That night I returned to see the little vials of shower gel and shampoo had been placed into the bathroom.
I also noticed that the hair dryer was hard wired into the mains socket in a way that exposed the wires. Not a good place for children to stay then.
The location is ok if you are here for bar street and drinking as it's just off the East gate street. But noise can be heard in the room until about 2am.

The accommodation was cramped and very basic. Pillows were lumpy and hard, and the room was cramped.
