The owner was exceptionally kind, attentive and hospitable. The house is charming. I would definitely stay there again.

This was room only accommodation (with kettle, mugs, tea, etc in the room). Good location for me as I was visiting relatives close by. On bus routes to the centre of London.

Shared bathroom facilities which were spotless. I was aware of this on booking.

The house is delightful and the room, and the bed, was very comfortable. The location is very handy for transport in all directions, and it's surprisingly quick to get into central London.

The bathrooms, while supremely clean, were not quite up to scratch; the upper one, next to my room, had a non-functioning shower, and while I sympathise with Francien's predicament that nobody had told her that it wasn't working, I feel that, for the amount charged per night, an emergency plumber could have been called. And despite her careful instructions about how to avoid water escaping from the lower shower, it did escape (I cleared it up) because the flexible edging to the shower-screen is perished and needs replacing.
