We loved the location! It was right across from the Caribbean on a quiet street,. You could snorkel there with your own gear. The day before we left, a guest saw a big stingray or manta ray & a large turtle as she snorkeled. Ask Audrey where to get in. Audrey was very good at communicating both with Booking & WhatsApp. There's only 5 apartments & everyone was so friendly! We had more conversations in 2 days than we had in 5 weeks in Aruba & Curacao. We stayed 2 weeks & didn't rent a car. We took a North & South Island tour, I also went on a snorkeling trip & another to the National Park. I booked through Viator & was picked up right outside our gate as everyone knows where Kas Hamaka is. We had coffee on a dock every morning & walked up to the cruise ships most days. It was great that it had lots of outlets, both 110 & 220. It also had camp chairs, plus a balcony & patio with comfy chairs.

Our apt had cement stairs to the second level, which only had a rail on the inside. The bathroom was on the main level, but the big bedroom was upstairs. It was very roomy, but could have used more storage space for unpacking. The ceiling fans were great, but the only air con was upstairs.

Everything!

Everything was great, but maybe add some more things to the kitchen like containers for leftovers or for sandwiches, a couple of larger glasses? a smaller cooler? beach towels and a hair dryer?

A spacious duplex apartment, very helpful hosts, pleasant social ambiance, location across the street from the ocean.

It was quite hot and since we are not the youngest, we needed AC. We had AC in the bedroom but, as we discovered late, some of the windows had mosquito nets but no glass. Hence, the AC could barely cope while we were reluctant to run it constantly
