About this house rental
A charming, historic detached house, located next to a Breton farmhouse, in a peaceful and very quiet setting.
Upon your arrival, we’ll welcome you personally whenever possible to show you around the house, explain how everything works, and provide you with all the information you need to fully enjoy your stay and discover the treasures of Morbihan.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a large living area with a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and a sofa bed that can accommodate two additional guests if needed.
Upstairs, the large bedroom features a 140-cm double bed as well as a sofa bed that can be converted into two single beds. These different sleeping arrangements make it easy to adapt the bedroom layout to guests’ needs. Upon request, it’s also possible to add an extra crib.
The house has a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet.
It has been equipped with ultra-high-speed fiber-optic internet since May 2024.
Outside, enjoy a small private garden with patio furniture and a parking space.
Just 3 minutes from the town of Brech, you’ll find all the local shops you need: a SPAR mini-market open 7 days a week, an excellent organic bakery, a pharmacy, takeout pizza, a physical therapist, a hair salon, a beauty salon, a bar, and a crêperie.
Auray, just 10 minutes away, offers a wide range of activities and services: bike rentals, a Monday market, an organic market on Thursdays, shops selling local products, a shopping district with Leclerc, Super U, and Lidl, numerous restaurants, a movie theater, a swimming pool open 7 days a week, kayaking and electric boat tours, as well as the port of Saint-Goustan with its ferry departures to the islands in the summer.
The house is ideally located for exploring Morbihan: you can quickly reach the beaches of Carnac, Erdeven, and La Trinité-sur-Mer (about 20 minutes away). We were there for almost 2 Weeks in May. The House is very cozy and has all one need for a few days enjoying Bretagny, and switching off. The village is very small, but close to Auray with grocery shops and all convinience. The Lady lord is super kind.
Positive:
- Located in a quite village, but close to "big" cities like Auray and Vannes.
- It is big enough for a couple.
- The kitchen is good enough for a few days of vacation.
- The bed is very confortable, and the nights are super quiet - perfect to catch up some sleep :)
- It has two WCs (one upstairs and one downstairs) - very convinient.
- The house was very clean when we arrived.
- Washmachine is available.
Negative:
- The shower is unconfortable for "big guys", but for a few days it works.
- WLAN only works outside of the house.
- TV only in French.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in unserem Ferienhaus. Sehr ruhig gelegen, aber alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Süd-Bretagne sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Es grünte und blühte rund ums Haus und man hörte nur die Vögel zwitschern und die Frösche quaken. Das Haus ist liebevoll möbliert und mit allem ausgestattet. Der Empfang unserer Vermieterin Marie-Laure war sehr herzlich und Ihre Tipps für die nähere Umgebung sehr hilfreich. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub! Wir kommen wieder!

Très beau logement, bien équipé, au calme de la campagne, idéalement situé entre Vannes et Carnac. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle région. A refaire !
