Easy location to airport, walk to a really sweet beach. Close to restaurants, cafes and bars. Great communication with reception, very responsive. Super comfortable bed.

Up a very steep hill, with lots of stairs, be warned with big suitcases and hire cars!

Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, with a spectacular view over Lassi, especially the sunset. Sitting on the (albeit shared with the two other rooms on the floor) balcony with a cold glass of wine or beer from the rooms generously sized fridge, was pleasant. Good aircon.

I have come to expect poor maintenance in a lot of Greek properties over the years and this was no different. No lock on the rear window and it would not close over (not about security I know Kefalonia is safe, this is about mosquitos!) The kind of thing that can be fixed in 10 minutes with a 1.50€ latch, a screwdriver and 10minutes spare time. The sort of thing that should be getting fixed in low season. A light with a missing shade, so just an exposed bulb on the wall. No mount on bathroom wall to seat the shower head. All I can say is the photos of the place really flattered the room, it was claustrophobic. This kind of place suits a student or a young couple with low expectations and just wanting a comfortable place to sleep. The stairs! two flights of stairs to get to the building, then 4 more to get up to the room! Not fantastic if you've just eaten a huge Greek meal and have had a few drinks! Especially if like me you're the wrong side of 50 and out of shape!
