The location was very central. 2 minutes walk from the beach and with the convenience store right next door. Our rooms were cleaned every alternate day and breakfast was lovely with fresh juice (different variety every morning) alongside fruits, eggs and pancakes). The host , Mauritius, was very hospitable.
The electricity in Zanzibar goes off often and this impacts both WiFi and water pressure. Casa Carlotta does not have a generator and on our last evening we were without light the full night and morning .

The staff was very friendly & helpful regarding recommendations for travelling, AC in the room, nice breakfast & beautiful garden. Location is central and proximity to beach and restaurants.

Location and cleanliness, friendly employees.
Electricity cut off from municipalities and they don’t have generators, so we stayed without AC, it was too hot to stay inside. Breakfast doesn’t have options, only egg which you can ask fried or boiled other than only coffee or tea. Fruits and juices were extremely tasty. Very light breakfast which is acceptable.
