Villa Gioia - Secret gem with private garden

We really liked the garden - it was very big and beautiful, perfect for spending some time at peace. We also liked the fact that there were two toilets, it is very practical when you are a group of more persons. Another thing we appreciated was the whole atmosphere and aesthetic of the house, both inside and outside, as we could take beautiful pictures. And lastly, we liked the fact that the Internet connection was really good.

There was nothing that we didn’t like. However, a small improvement can be done in the bathroom and a douche holder can be installed, as there was not a douche holder, hence it was a bit hard to wash your hair, keeping in mind that we were four girls.

An excellent villa with a beautiful garden and a cozy, peaceful atmosphere. Impeccably clean and fully equipped with everything you need.

The only thing that could have made it even better would have been having two bathrooms.

Our stay at Villa Gioia was a pleasant surprise! It was even more beautiful than we expected. After reading some older reviews, I was a bit hesitant about the condition of the villa, but in reality everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and fully functional. Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee in the beautiful garden, feeling a deep sense of peace. The location, near the center of the island, allowed us to explore beaches easily. The closest one, Alykes, is only a 5-minute drive and offers many beach bars and shops. It’s recommended to have a car to fully enjoy the experience! It’s ideal for slow living, where every moment flows calmly. Definitely, we would recommend this property, and we would come back!

We stayed at this beautiful villa for a couple of days and it truly felt like a hidden gem. From the very first moment, there is a sense of calm and authenticity that is hard to find. The house has a unique character, with its stone details, warm atmosphere, and a feeling that it has been cared for with love. What we enjoyed the most was the outdoor space. Having breakfast in the garden surrounded by greenery and silence was simply magical. In the evening, the soft lighting creates such a peaceful and cozy ambiance that makes you want to slow down and just be present. You can really feel that the space has been recently refreshed and thoughtfully prepared. Everything feels clean, balanced, and welcoming. Furthermore, the location is great if you want to explore Zakinthos island. This is not just a place to stay, but a place to relax, reconnect, and experience a more authentic side of Zakynthos. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and peaceful.
