Masseria Paglieroni

Great shower. Lots of room.

The light outside the bedroom window that didn’t switch off until 1.30-2am.

Masseria Paglieroni is set in beautiful countryside a few kilometres from Martina Franca. It is a very peaceful setting with lovely vistas. We booked two apartments. The apartments are spacious, very well appointed with a super comfortable beds and an excellent shower. The kitchens are fully equipped and modern. The pool is fantastic: clean, large enough for exercising and brilliant for chilling around after a day of exploring. Breakfast is brought to the apartments each morning and was an excellent range of tasty home made products. We asked for more savoury and this was supplied next day. Rosa is a wonderful host with Giovanna and Giacomo. A wonderful bonus were the sweet kittens that befriended us.

Nothing. A wonderful experience.

Comfortable huge bed. Spacious rooms (we had a superior apartment). The swimming pool is definitely a must in that heat. Air conditioning. Plenty of space to park. Trulli all around. Above all, the amazing and generous breakfast served on our private patio.

The walls are thin and not well sound proofed so we could hear both our neighbours and their babies. More coat hangers would be nice. The kitchen utensils are basic in case you're thinking of cooking. The masseria is a long way down a long, dark, unlit road from Martina Franca but we had a full moon.
