Our host, Fabiola, was waiting for us outside the property when we arrived in our **free** taxi transfer from the airport. (Thanks, Booking.com!) She proved to be a very friendly and helpful young woman, and had excellent English (both spoken and written). She also kindly allowed us to check in a couple of hours ahead of the property's earliest check-in time, and provided us with a list of her recommended restaurants. Thanks again, Fabiola! B&B Acquapazza is very well located on one corner of Piazza Dante, which is within walking distance of almost every attraction in Brindisi - from its magnificent Cathedral and the city's wonderful harbour in one direction to the railway station (a bit further) in the opposite direction. There is no shortage of good bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the property too. The property consists of three en-suite rooms on its top floor (third storey). All rooms have access to a good-sized communal area that includes a gas cooker, microwave and refrigerator. As we ate out practically all of the time, we only used the fridge. Our room was nicely decorated and immaculately clean - and was kept that way by housekeeping who serviced the room every day except Sunday. It had high, star-vaulted ceilings throughout (a lovely feature). The bed was a decent size and very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was also a decent size with a good-sized walk-in shower. Our room also had a small balcony overlooking a relatively quiet street off the piazza.

Our bedroom was a bit on the small side - but we managed where others might struggle to do so. As the property has no lift/elevator, the aforementioned high ceilings (presumably common to all floors) meant that all rooms are only accessible via long flights of stairs with many steps. While we managed, people with even slight mobility issues might struggle or fail to climb them.
