La Golette Apartment

Well equipped and very suited to a larger family it is very well placed for skiing and for the town. Particularly easy to get to Lo Tata for their signature pizza. We would love to stay here again.

There were no obvious negatives to mention

Very nice residence with good facilities and new bathrooms. A few minutes by walking from town and the main attraction for skiing

Beautiful location. Central to the main town and chairlift. Comfortable apartment. Stunning views. Friendly and helpful host and easy check in/out.

We were on a mountain bike week and the lack of a washing machine or launderette in the town was a little bit of a problem, but we'll just pack a few more bits next time.

we were a family group of six adults and the apartment was spacious, thee was plenty of room for luggage ski gear and people,generally unusual with ski accommodation. I liked that towels and linen were provided and the beds made up ready on arrival

we did not meet our host and communication was not great for arrival/ departure. This didn’t matter for our trip but I felt had there been any problems getting help would not have been easy. There was no bin bags, soap or clean cloths and a lack of property maintenance.

The apartment had enough room for our family, and was within walking distance of the gondola to the ski field (although not with ski gear). Basic kitchen supplies - oil, salt and sugar - were in the cupboard. Can cook here.

Not value for money at all. Host very unhelpful. We asked for all the beds to be made up, but only half were. When we asked for an additional bed to be made up, we were brought a bottom sheet and extra blankets but no top sheet or duvet, so my son slept under a coverlet all week. There is no kettle (although one is listed). When we asked for one, we were told by the host to 'just boil water in the microwave'. There is a microwave, but there is nowhere to plug it in, so it can't be used unless it's moved. Toiletries are also listed as being supplied, but this appeared to equate to one bottle of body wash/shampoo for the whole house, and 2 rolls of toilet paper. No soap or other supplies. When we asked for more toilet paper, we were told we had to buy our own. The house was dirty, with dust everywhere, and the dishes were dirty too, so had to wash them all before use. There are 2 TVs in the house, one of which turns on but isn't tuned, and the other, the remote appears to be lost so can't turn it on. When we asked the host where the remote was, he said 'it should be in the house somewhere'. Unhelpful given we'd already looked, hence the reason for asking. Also no wifi. This place would be fine (albeit overpriced) if you're out all day and in the evening, and just want to sleep there, but if so you'd be better off in a hotel. Or if you're not bothered by dust and things being broken (despite paying for them). We absolutely loved La Thuile ski field and village and would 100% go back-but we'd not stay here again.

Such a great place to stay and ski in La Thuile. Within walking distance to the slopes and the apartment has everything you need. Francesco was so easy to communicate with, highly recommend!

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and spacious. It is close to the main road, so very easy to find and access. And having a parking makes all the difference in La Thuile! The apartment also has a big balcony which must be ideal for the summer (we enjoyed even in winter!). The host answered our questions in a matter of minutes and made our stay really pleasant.
