Welcoming & Homely

The B&B is located in a historic residence in Dijon, not far from the city centre. Our room was simple and comfortable, suitable for the single night we stayed there.

I believe there are a few details in the rooms that could be improved (for example, the comfort of the bed, as one side was sagging).

Nice quirky place to stay, 30 minute walk from Dijon but restaurant and pizza place 5 mins away.

lovely, had a nice meal at the corner restaurant five minutes away and slept well. Breakfast was ok. We walked into Dijon which was well worth the 30 minute walk.

Perfect for what we needed

Gorgeous property and lovely little house. Perfect for a stopover from London/Paris to the south of France.

The bed and pillows maybe could have been a bit comfier.

Cosy and well managed spot, not too far from the centre.

Second time i've visited. This time I had one of the ground floor rooms which was (even without any airco) very well cooled, despite the 32 degrees outside. Cosy place, a kitchen and utensils you can use if you decide to bring your own food to eat. (not sure you can cook though, I didn't need it) Clean room with enough place. Close to some busy streets but after 20:00 it gets pretty quiet. I didn't include breakfast this time so can't judge on that topic.

The bathroom was a bit small , especially the shower, not in height but in width. But besides that, nothing to complain about.

Nice place in a rustic home

Nice room in a rustic home, but the real beauty could not be assess due to rain. Perhaps it looks more appealing at the sunny/warm days. There is a patio, small garden with some furniture, good for relaxing. Very responsive owner, and we appreciated directions, and served breakfast. There was a kettle to make tea and/or coffee. The bottles of water were a nice addition - thank you.

We found the pharaoh ants crawling on a floor, perhaps due to rainy day. The B&B suggests that besides bed, there will be breakfast served as well. It was, but for an extra fee. Clarification will be welcome.

A delightful base from which to explore a thoroughly interesting city.

Next time we come to Dijon - and we'd like to explore it more - this is where we'll stay. It's not in the city centre, but near enough. There's parking on site, and plenty of outdoor space. Our room was individually and quirkily decorated and was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was good: fresh bread and pastries, good local jams, honey and yoghourt. The host, Guillaume, does not live in site, but responds cheerfully and promptly to any questions. After sightseeing in the city, we enjoyed exploring the many walks to be found immediately next to the property in extensive park and woodland. This made for a refreshing later part of the day.

Honestly, nothing. It was comfortable, peaceful, excellent value for money.

Great overnight on way from Côte d’Azur to Calais . Would definitely visit again .

Location is great . Quiet and not too far from the centre. Owner was very helpful recommending restaurants . We went for L’Epicerie &co which was fantastic .

What could go wrong. Went wrong. Disappointing.

The breakfast was the usual continental ... coffee, croissant, bread, jam etc. It was fine.

We didn't get the room we booked. owner wasn't on site but kept us updated by text. we were told room 1 but when we arrived, a Dutch guy was in room 1 so we chose an empty room upstairs which had sloping ceilings that made the room cramped. Clearly the Dutch guy got there first and decided the room we booked was better/bigger. Advised owner by text who just replied that it was weird ! Property was on edge of Dijon town so too far from centre. We were only staying as a one night stop over to the Alps but I should have booked somewhere in countryside as I had to fight my way through Dijon to get here, then in the morning fight my way back out in the car. I'd say this place isn't really that good for more than one night because its too cramped and too difficult to get to and for just a stop over, again, too awkward to get to and there is better value out of town, easier parking, easier access to major roads and less likely to get your vehicle vandalized ! No milk for tea so spent 30 minutes trying to find a shop that's open (always a challenge in France). found a shop, bought milk, returned to find my car had been "keyed". tea bags and coffee were provided but a fridge with milk would have meant no driving around for a shop and no scratches on my car. Also, the parking was just off a main road, on a blind bend, so reversing out is lethal, driving out forwards, tricky. Overall, this stay was a right pain in the derrier. I wouldn't recommend Dijon or this B&B.

Pretty setting and within walking distance of town

Good location out of centre, host welcoming and friendly (but then not on site).

No one on hand to sort out problems, WiFi didn’t work well and in the morning no one arrived to serve breakfast. whilst host was very apologetic and made no charge it was an inconvenience- we sourced breakfast at a local cafe.

The room was quiet, spacious, warm, plenty for breakfast. Host was very helpful and spoke excellent English. Bed very comfortable Off road parking. Terrace and garden area available

Shower over bath without screen or curtain meant the floor got very wet. A short guide to using the tv and netflix controls would have been helpful

Comfortable & charming

Excellent communication with the host from the moment we made the booking. Charming place, best night ever- very comfy bed and super quiet at night, exactly what we needed! Guillaume was there to welcome us on arrival even though it was a bit late! Unfortunately I left my notebook behind, but the honesty of Guillaume who made me aware and going above & beyond making sure I get it back was superb and only topped the positive feel of the place. Also- good breakfast with some local produce 👌

There was nothing that we didn't like. Only arriving late for the first time meant we're not familiar with the location and had to count numbers on other properties to make sure we had the right place!

Perfect stay in an idillic b&b

The property was beautiful! Our suite was idillic and had all facilities we needed during our stay in Dijon. The host was super friendly and helpful, and provided us with some good recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood. The breakfast was served right on time and was good to start the day.

The courtyard was a bit small to park all cars and the location was close to a busy street.
