The apartment was clean, spacious with a beautiful view of the city, lake and mountains, the kitchen with basic ingredients you need for cooking, drinking water and a beer in the fridge.

The only thing that was missing was wifi, other than that everything was perfect.

Great apartment and super host in a lovely place

The apartment was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The balcony looks out over the town of Lovere to the lake and stunning mountains. Our host was very pleasant and she surprised us with the free use of her 5 bicycles. This really made our holiday extra special, enabling us to explore the wonderful local area. There is plenty to see and do here, and the town has lovely restaurants, bars, swimming pool. canoe hire and walks.

There was no air-con, but that wasn't an issue for us. Perhaps a few more large fans to help keep us cool would be a good idea. The kitchen, while reasonably well-equipped, had very little preparation space.

Nice view over the lake. No aircon - but not a problem during our stay (25c-30c), the apartment don't get to hot. Easy parking. Walking down to the city is easy - and the return uphill isn't bad, there are stairs most of the way.

Hostess was very nice. Booking.com needs better customer support. Definitely need to fix the wi-fi.

Antonella was pleasant and helpful. The apartment was clean. It was nice to have parking. The photos below were taken from the threshold of the sliding glass door that looks out to the lake and mountains. There is a balcony with a table and two chairs for enjoying that view while eating breakfast or just relaxing.

The wifi reception was poor. There was no heat available in mid-May during a spell of rainy weather with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. We were told that it is Italian law for the heat to be turned off after mid April. We support energy conservation, but it wasn't enjoyable to be cold. We wanted to cancel our original reservation soon after we made it (decided to invite a friend--Casa Valvendra wasn't big enough), but when we tried, we could not get help from Booking.com. Their auto-reply system needed a confirmation number but they had not issued one. We had multiple emails with auto-replies and then a couple from agents who could not help us because... we didn't have a confirmation number. Shades of the novel, Catch 22. Although today's Lovere is still beautiful (in the 1700s Lady Montagu described it as the most beautiful place in the world), there is constant rush and roar of traffic on the main street that fronts the lake. Since the town is built on a hillside that drops steeply down to the lake, there is really nowhere else for that traffic to go, but it is noisy and there is often little for sidewalks and pedestrians.

Very friendly host, apartment very clean, a lot of towels available. Coffee, tea and water provided. Comfortable beds, nice balcony with a view to the lake, own private parking just next to the house.

Goosy hilside scenery apartment!

The hostes was very polite. She helped us to find a shop and everything was in order in tha apartment.

I expected that the lovely hostes would have use english as the iformation language. Misunderstandig s very close, when try to undeststand Italian. The lovely hostes lady spoke very understable english!

Great place in Lovere

Balcony and the view! Oh, we spent a lot on the balcony and it was wonderful! Apartments are clean and comfy, bathroom was rather big and the shower was perfect. Coffee machine was also useful. It is also a nice trail nearby, but we hadn’t had a chance to use it.

Could be hard to go uphill from the city center and supermarket, but was not a big deal for us.

The view is spectacular. It was amazing to see the sun going up from the mountain. Also, the apartment was very clean and had all the necessary equipment for cooking. A coffee machine was quite a benefit.

This property is in an elevated location with a very beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. It is clean, well maintained and has a kitchen with all necessary utensils. We definitely had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I liked it, my daughters liked it, nothing to complain about.

The apartment was very well equipped and very clean! This was our first travel outside of Germany since COVID and we were really put at ease by the safety measures the host took. She wore a mask to meet us with the keys and made sure that hand sanitizer and disinfectant cleaning spray were available in the apartment. The apartment itself is wonderful! We enjoyed a lovely view of the lake from our balcony. We cooked breakfast and dinner each day using the cookware provided in the kitchen and always ate out on the balcony. Unfortunately, some of the boats that would normally operate from Lovere are not running this summer. But it was an easy drive from this location to get to other towns on the lake for day trips.

Appartamento top, peccato i maleducati a fianco!

Cortesia dell'host, pulizia, posizione. Appartamento ben posizionato, con una piccola passeggiata sei lungo lago! Pulizia top, caldo ed accogliente, con tutto a disposizione! La Signora simpatica ed impeccabile, ci ha fatto trovare anche il necessario per condimento, carta e acqua!

Purtroppo, ospiti dell'appartamento accanto, giovani estremamente maleducati che hanno fatto un delirio fino alle 5 del mattino. Fortunatamente, su 5 notti, sono stati drammaticamente presenti solo due (una delle quali, per carità, era la notte di San Silvestro, ci mancherebbe! Lecito fare festa fino a tardi!!) ma la seconda notte/mattina, un bel disastro. Nessuna colpa alla signora che ci ha affittato la casa, ma, se un soggiorno deve essere fatto anche di relax, beh, questi tizi non hanno assolutamente giovato!

Dejlig lejlighed med en fantastisk udsigt fra balkonen

Det er en dejlig lejlighed med en meget fin balkon med sol fra morgenstunden til sidst på eftermiddagen. Soveværelset vender mod nord og er køligt. Det ekstra værelse vender mod øst og er også meget fint. Værtinden taler et virkeligt godt engelsk og er meget venlig og imødekommende. Alt er fint og rent. Dejligt stort badeværelse. Køkkenet er veludstyret med gaskomfur, 4 kogepladser og en lille ovn / mikrobølgeovn. Lejligheden ligger højt med en fantastisk udsigt over søen, byen og bjergene omkring. Derfor er der også en stejl adgangsvej så man skal påregne at gå på en del trapper og en del bjergkørsel. Der er en fin privat parkeringsplads lige ved lejligheden. Der er internet. Lovere by er flot med butikker, restauranter og cafeer. Promenade og færgefart til de andre byer.

Vi kunne godt have brugt en elkedel og en brødrister.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt! Die Besitzerin ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit, sie spricht sogar Deutsch. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und bestens ausgestattet, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der See ist ganz in der Nähe und das Stadtzentrum ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen

Fijn koel en ruim huis in een heel leuk stadje.

Hele fijne ontvangst door Antonella en haar man. Aangenaam en zeer ruim en koel huis, vooral de slaapkamer was heerlijk koel. Goed en heel rustig gelegen hoog in het leuke Lovere, waar veel te doen is. Lieve eigenaren die zeer behulpzaam zijn en tips geven om te doen.

Soms wat lang blaffende honden verderop in de straat. We misten een waterkoker.
